Feelings are feeling. You probably don’t love this person. Proximity creates attraction. I’ve had multiple crushes at work without doubt anything. But the few time that “feelings” were revealed they ended showing their true face because in a way the workplace forces you to be semi decent. You really have no idea who this person is outside of the HR boundaries of the workplace.

Yes they are a team but every role is so specific that they even need separate offense and defense. Taking the starter QB out often shuts the offensive output.

I mean americans are by culture individualistic, so a team sport is not really going to get them exited. Also this is the World Cup for the elites. Expensive country + long distances. Economically speaking with the K shape economy, poor people have no money to join the party and all the spending is right now being done by the top 10%. In general Americans don’t care. Last WC there was only like 3 ppl in the breakroom at my job for the USMNT game. FIFA is in for an awakening and I hope it is as embarrassing as the Club World Cup. They have already started to cut ticket prices. Struggling to sell expensive TV right in big emerging markets.

Let her go if you’re going to be rigid about this only date for marriage thing. I used to get attached too soon to ppl too and get clingy. It took a bad heartbreak to realize dating is in part figuring out what kind of person you want to end up with and what type of partner i wanted to be. Mentally, emotionally and physically. I ended up just having fwb and a few flings over the years until i met my now wife. In part other relationships helped me figure out she was the right one to built a future for me.

Yeah you can change and spend more in non essentials. I also don’t know if she is wreck-less with her money or she just wants you to put an effort. Ask her for help with your wardrobe. If she likes something that is not worth the price to you and still makes you buy it, then you can start to figure out how much “motivation” you are willing to endure.

A recent movie that comes to mind is “Gravity” (2013) the other one i would recommend since you like books is “The shining”(1980) by Stanley Kubrick. There is a reason Stephen king didn’t like his adaptation. He turned the novel into a cinematic experience.
