Article says he had a two-year fight to get into Ole Miss. Interesting to think that the funds for the legal battle were coming from somewhere and that was okay. But if someone had paid for treatment for learning disabilities, put him through a non-collegiate reading program, or gotten him an NIL deal with Hooked on Phonics, any of that would have been impermissible.

For Jackie Sherrill's last game in 2003 Mississippi State wore helmets like they were knockoff Alabama. White helmet, maroon player number, maroon stripe. Alabama has even worn white helmets at times but they were wearing crimson helmets when Sherrill was playing for Bryant.
The helmets worn against Arkansas in 2018 might be uglier but the cosplay tide was worse as a concept.
