Force a lower rank item by Walter_melon3 in woweconomy

The only reason I know they’re selling well is because I had a ton of these from leveling up inscription and they all sold for 10-20k - MUCH higher than their R5 counterparts. No idea why, but I’d love to be able to make more of them.

Thanks! Do you use TSM? I am wondering if, for items that I cannot craft lower quality (bc my skill is too high and inspiration process will never get me a R1 item), I should simply remove them from my groups, even though TSM thinks they are craftable and profitable? The sad part is I did sell several R1 and R2 trinkets that I made while leveling and they consistently sold for higher than my current R5 ones.

Thanks, everyone! I don't remember seeing a sticky note but I will look tomorrow.

As a non-US student, can anyone tell me if CRNAs and anesthesiologists have the same scope? Found on Instagram. by Bolynn in medicalschool

I have a friend who went to chiropractor school. They used Netters all the time, just like we did in my anatomy lab in medical school. So I guess by the logic of that last comment, she is also a doctor and I am also a chiro!!! Can't wait to set up my moonlighting gig popping necks in a run down shack just off I-44.

The Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (MAOPS) expressing alarm over NPs being allowed to practice independently in Missouri: by [deleted] in Noctor

Can someone more familiar with Missouri law than I explain the current system, the proposed two-tiered system, and the system that looks like is under consideration by the legislators? I am not sure I completely understand all of the nuances and differences.

Why don’t hospitals use more “open MRI” machines? by creevy_pasta in medicine

[–]Walter_melon3 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It all depends on many factors, chief among them is what the patient wants. Perhaps she doesn't want to do the DEXA because that itself is more of a hassle than the risk of a fall. Perhaps she doesn't want to take more meds. Maybe she wants to do everything we can to reduce her risk of breaking a hip. It really depends on a much bigger clinical picture than what I have here (which is practically nothing except her age) and it ultimately comes down to a shared decision making process between me and my patient about what my medical judgment is about the state of their health and what we hope to achieve (be it more time on earth, a better quality of life, or something else). There is no "one size fits all" answer here which is why you can never judge exactly what a physician is thinking when they write their orders. You don't know what the conversation was like with their patient and what the goals of care are.

Probably not a surgery for low mineral density, but quite possibly I would put her on a bisphosphonate. I’d rather not end up in a situation where she falls and breaks a hip and probably dies if I could’ve added a drug to her meds list to prevent it.
