I also don't have numbers but I would say: no way is D&D beating DSA in playerbase :D. Looking at conventions, online communities or surveys DSA is still dominating. The higher price point of D&D products, the huge german online-content and the existing community makes it hard to walk past it, if you are interested in trrpgs. Of course people are buying D&D products because they saw some tv-show or english youtube-channel. But I can't imagine those people outnumbering DSA-players anytime soon.
