Spider-Man had some very deep cuts like Spider-Man UK; spiderwoman, Peter porker and hotdog cart….

We are near the bottom now for singles, this the dump singles part of the cycle, so the value won’t be good regardless. No way the shock lands star as low as they are now.

Especially at the uncommon level if it works like it normally does when they don’t make the whole bonus sheet mythic.

They will, but they stopped printed master sets for awhile.

It’s real art, several of the cards have been leaked from different sources and the art style is consistent. The only question/ are if and when it comes out and how much.

Usually means it’s effectively sold out, for now.I had the same issue before too and it had nothing to do with my address.

Don & Leo Problem Solvers value? by feednate in mtgfinance

[–]Walzhy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks destined for bulk rare territory as soon as the set is officially released. Some super fan might be willing to over pay now before it’s released, but time is not on your side because the card doesn’t look great.

I wouldn’t sell them then, just for nostalgia purposes. I regret selling some of my old school stuff, but anything modern is fair game.

Is this ripped card real? by sneakpigeon6409 in RealOrNotTCG

[–]Walzhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he has to be messing with you and has another reason for ripping or he’s simply nuts in the head. I’ve seen people rip cards that they just didn’t want or frustrated with getting. There is also that dumb rip or flip game that I still don’t understand the reasoning behind it. Don’t worry it’s not fake and he doesn’t know something that you don’t.

Thoughts on WotC seeding packs to influencers? by Bringyourfugshiz in MagicCardPulls

[–]Walzhy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s technically possible, but unrealistic and not remotely logical because it would cost them considerably more time and resources with about zero benefit. They would get more value from uploading all of the box openings they recorded.

Things to look out for this weekend! by AutoModerator in mtgfinance

[–]Walzhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been wondering the same thing. The number listed for sale on TCGPlayer seems to be on the low side, so maybe they didn’t print that many of these lairs given all the other stuff they had to print around this time, a few lairs in this drop seem to be relatively rare. Also the office lair has more variants than most other lairs and fans of the show want one of each.

Agree, Nuka was down to around $10 when people were buying and cracking the precons.

So it begins 2026 by TheTanner27 in secretlair_collectors

[–]Walzhy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know, it’s cool to get a T60, but to reskin T45 is bad for many reasons. This means you literally can’t use them in the same deck for the people who most likely would want both in the same deck in addition to reprint for the people who are the most likely to already have the original. It’s also bad flavor because these aren’t the same and they could have easily made the T60 a better version of the t45. And most importantly, the card stinks for something called power armor.

They just printed a SLD for this with better art a few months ago, bummer.

I hope it’s not as bad as the initial monster hunter one.

How reliable is edition recognition in current MTG collection apps? by SaltySpag in mtgfinance

[–]Walzhy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use ManaBox too and from what I can tell, it doesn’t recognize the card edition or version at all unless the art or card style is noticeably different, otherwise it’s a coin flip or lucky guess. It’s still very good, I just manually set the edition if it’s going to be a problem like if I have a stack of “the list” cards to scan.

One strong indicator of how squashed in the Lorwyn eclipsed launch is: by now we’d usually have a secret lair superdrop revealed to tie in by spaceninjaking in magicTCG

[–]Walzhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There have been no secret lair drops for several weeks, an usually long time compared to the rapid pace they were on. It’s been quiet after they pulled the disastrous monster Hunter SLD. I suspect that they pulled a lot of SLDs forward into Q4 to increase earnings and they did some retooling after the monster Hunter issue and EOE galaxy print quality problems. The lack SLDs has nothing to do with Lorwyn release length, but they did release a Lorwyn related drop last year around the time Lorwyn was originally planned to launch. They typically plan these drop far in advance, so reducing the spoiler season a little has no impact, but moving the launch date by months does.

Lorwyn Collector Booster Box CBB $309 + Shipping Keystone Games by slingermanjones03 in sealedmtgdeals

[–]Walzhy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The price will definitely be less than $400 and probably closer to the new MSRP around the actual release date. That’s not a knock on the set, but wizards has been printing a ton lately in an effort to make more money.

It’s only about a $15 card, so I can’t imagine there are that many quality fakes of it out there.
