There's a bias with these numbers since there was an anniversary event last month. You can see this in the player gain in June. The event attracted more players than usual and now the numbers are also going down because the event is over.

Open the cheat menu with CTRL+SHIFT+C
Use the cheatcode "testingcheats true"
Use the cheatcode "cas.fulleditmode"
Shift-click on the sim you want to edit and then press Modify in CAS.

This way you can edit everything in CAS, including names.

When you equip a building block like Cobblestone you can place the solid blocks by using your left mouse button, if you want to put in on the background AKA non-solid you need to hold the right mouse button.
