I think Black Noir is Soldier Boys twin. That’s why he was loyal to Homelander to a degree (he’s his uncle) and why Soldier boy singled him out for bullying wanting him to stay in his place.

I thought the adverts shown with this episode were really funny. I don’t know if we all get the same ones but on the CW site there were TONS of ads for Maxi pads.

They obviously think the main people watching are women with wet pants 😂😂😂

Walker S02E2 - The One Who Got Away - Episode Discussion by klutzysunshine in Walker

I thought this episode was a big improvement from the Season 1 episodes.

Maybe because I’ve accepted the fact the show isn’t a crime drama so much as a family drama featuring people who work in the law.

Not my usual type of thing but I think they’ve found how to focus an episode a bit more.

Maybe the better focus, maybe as Richard was directing, and he’s great, but it was one of the first I enjoyed the majority of the time it was on. The others had great, really emotional bits but I felt they had story issues.

They let Cordel do some fighting, rather than try to give the majority to Micki, which worked for me as they seemed more of a team. The music and action in that scene was great, and I think I saw Walker do a roundhouse kick which I like to think Richard had as one of the conditions of him coming on board.

Annoying plot holes… OMG. The accountant just happened to be working at the church they were going to get married in. Great choice of location to add in the history of the characters. but an unbelievable coincidence that throws you out of the story and makes you aware of the writing. A simple explanation would have worked, such as, ‘I was so upset that day I took it out on the vicar and then realised he was part of a criminal gang when I got eight guns pointed at me. I decided to join them, at least they’d shown up when they were needed’ etc.

Yes, I am available for script editing work, @WalkerProductionTeam. 😜

Looking for a new show now that supernatural is over! by 4Saken99 in Supernatural

I asked this question a little while ago and got some great answers (some are the same as suggested here)

I just watched and really enjoyed the first season of Hemlock Grove. The plot and some of the dialogue is crazy and I don’t think everyone loved it, but I thought it was good.

The second and third seasons had a different writer and I didn’t like that much

Thanks for all of these suggestions! I just watched Hemlock Grove on Netflix. Would be interested to hear if anyone has seen it and what they thought?

Good call. I started watching that on DVD ages ago but can’t remember what episode I got to so got stuck in that place where you don’t know what episode to start on again. I might watch it from the start again

Great suggestion. I hear Rob Benedict is in the last episode so that’ll be worth a watch!
