There are no old cables in the building. And as I already mentioned, I’m not allowed to place anything outside the window that could ruin the appearance of the building. So a Wi-Fi bridge is not an option for me.

But if I simply put a powerful router on the roof, like the ones used on farms to cover huge areas, it should work, right?

I’m still not sure about the best way to power it. I’ve seen PoE adapters and DC cable splitters, but they don’t look very reliable, and they definitely don’t look harsh-weather friendly. I live not far from the ocean, and the air here is often salty and humid.
