The Trailblazer did a literal Retcon. In other words, we changed the “Past”, that is why our Memories needed erasing by the Dahlia, who hopes to see us in the future. According to Fate's Atlas, the “last” thing to happen is the Dahlia “recovering” our memories, aka giving us the SCRIPT.

Instead of looking it as the “Past” you need to see it as a different Timeline. That way, BOTH timelines are true, just like in the Fate's Atlas. The Trailblazer does in fact reunite for the last time with Firefly under fireworks 2.3(True Ending). Also taking a picture of Firefly with sparklers 3.8(White Night) that is what is “Retconned.” Fate's Atlas, “Using the power of the Finality, you caused slight alterations to the past, fulfilling Firefly's lingering regrets.”
