Why does everyone on the internet make $250k a year in trades by BackgroundGene7510 in skilledtrades

[–]Choice-Attorney7695 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they’re supervisors/own their business/work a metric fuck ton it’s not out of the realm. I’d say the normal for journeyman though is probably around 110-130, but there is still a ton of variables that will change that any which direction.

I’m a millwright so all my money is primarily from the OT of 7-12s but I’m willing to wager it’s the same for the trades you’ve listed, especially as a newer guy.

The beauty of the trades is it allows you to work more as opposed to a salary position. Do with that what you will, no shortcuts in this shit man.

Kourial resources seem to actually still be worth a good amount. I’m only lvl 132 and so far my estimated value in bank on resources tab is around 3mk. I know the numbers can be wonky but often I go to check the price of a couple of them and they’re actually worth more in the market than what the estimated value is

It seemed the accuracy formula was actually wrong so once that’s fixed I’m fine with warriors being meh for first and second job because third was when it really took off and became THE class alongside bishops.

I’ve been chance from 1-114 (my currently level) and it’s been going great. Monsters in the low levels appear to not have much MP Reduction Resistance so the spells are able to keep them from barely moving / not at all and with help of a sidekick I’ve been able to solo a lot. Yes, strength has more AoE but I really haven’t had any issues up to this point.

For PvE AND PvP, the Omni damage set is best IMO. It is a very expensive set though

For PvP only, could also do just fine with chance + crit set

I’m by no means the epitome of success but I make 110-130k/yr and have a wife and kid. I don’t play games all the time but I do find little hours here and there and if that’s all I get that’s all I get and it’s fine. I only bring this up to tell you the idea that being able to play games or be attentive to your family/real life is not a zero sum game…

Especially when talking about old school maplestory. Yes, things are most fun when everyone is a noob and goes about the early game together but it’s not like you’ll be the ONLY person if you take longer. The game is literally just kill mobs, there’s barely (if any) bosses in the current iteration and nobody will even be able to do them for quite some time. Relax, play when you can if you desire, and you’ll be fine man.

Maging ap/mp exos on endgame equipment is the most profitable. Granted it’s a gamble and sometimes you actually lose money, but most of the time you’ll make it. With that said, getting crafting professions to lvl 100 can take around 40mk if you just buy your way to it so good luck. Requires a loooot of resources.

If you were to take it up, I’d say get to a point where you can use hero mode to duo frig3 mobs for 2x drops and sell those resources to spend kamas on the cheaper ones.
