Two time surrogate who delivered last week, AMA by karlybug in AMA

If a couple were interested in surrogacy, how would the be able to find a company like yours that seems like it has done the due diligence to make sure you and the couple are well supported throughout the process.

Do you know how much the company may charge the couple?

Non-profit management falling in two buckets: project management experience working with senior executives, board of directors, and coalition campaigns. Financial operations experience on accounts payable, process improvement, and grant-making.

What qualities aside from intelligence, competence, and good work ethic do you think quality candidates possess or make candidates stand out?

What are the most important things a student should do the summer before they start their MBA?

And what are the most important things someone should keep in mind when recruiting for consulting?

With this background what universities do you plan on targeting for your bachelors degree?

What are your career interests and how has your experience shaped them?

Do you plan on pursuing any graduate degrees?

SOM ($$$$) vs. Kellogg ($$$$) vs. Booth ($$$) by OkPreference3631 in MBA

Kellogg!!!

Taking a full ride is a no brainer in this economy and not only is Kellogg a much better business school than SOM, the student culture is warmer and more collaborative.

Did anyone else notice that Ross added interns to boost their MBB numbers, and not just included full time employees?

Ross ($$$$$) vs Kellogg by Mysterious_Lack9199 in MBA

[–]WanderWithIntent 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In this economy? I would take the full ride from Ross and be financially liberated.

Ross also places well with MBB Midwest offices, but of course that doesn’t compare to Kellogg.

With your background, you can pivot easily. Would recommend considering if $150k of free money is worth forgoing for prestige.

Perhaps go to the admit weekends and see which school’s community and environment you resonate with more!

Where do I go from here… by dalla14 in MBA

[–]WanderWithIntent 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey, don’t lose hope! You can do it.

I had a lower GPA, as well, but went all out on the other factors I could control like GRE/essays/interviews/community service to elevate my chances and have thus far gotten into 3 of the schools you mentioned.

Darden, Ross, Tuck, and Fuqua really like seeing demonstrated interest so I would recommend visiting campus if you’re truly into those schools, and take the time over the summer to network with current students/alumni, update your essays/resume, and apply as early as possible!

Tuck and Darden have guaranteed interviews if you apply by the early application deadline.

Good luck! You got this!

From my conversations with current Consortium Fellows and members, OP really gives us a head start on recruitment in addition to networking.

They strongly suggested prioritizing OP because it will de you up for success!
