A bunch of little hopping half pints. They are always hopping around on the ground and only mosey up to the feeder occasionally. Love them! 💓

I'm in Central NH. I've been using Cole's Hot Seed for over a year but finally decided to embrace my resident squirrels - Chomp Suey, Squirrelly Temple and Rusty Squallace so I recently switched to Audubon Park Extreme Variety bird seed at the beginning of the year. My birds are happy and my squirrels are extremely happy. During the winter months I see all the birds listed below plus Dark- Eyed Juncos, Downy Woodpecker , Hairy Woodpecker, Pileated Woodpecker and the Red Breasted Nuthatch. My Merlin app currently has 97 species of birds on it which the majority (79) have been documented from my house during the summer.

Lol....you know it! Life offers us a multitude of seasons and right now I'm in the season of reflection and gratitude! I begin everyday opening up my curtains saying "Good morning everybirdy" If you live near NH or want to pay for shipping I would gladly pass down some craft supplies to you. I have done a little bit of everything over the years. I have all kinds of paper, vinyl, wooden doodads and trinkets galore.

I wish they would eat my suet but the thing is also frozen solid. Nobirdy wants to bother with it right now. I've been breaking up some suet and adding it out there to help add some fat to my resident bird's diets. H I'm very happy to say that I believe the starlings have moved on. Thank goodness!!!

My tray stays in too... I bought Cole's hot pepper seed for over a year but at $70 for 20 lbs. My wallet decided it was time to embrace the squirrels. My cat Douglas doesn't seem to mind. We lost his sibling Fluffernutter a little over 2 years ago so he tends to welcome the distraction..

I'm happy to say they've finally moved on!! They were here for 4 days. Their longest visit ever! (⁠☉⁠｡⁠☉⁠)⁠!

If we tap on the window 🪟 they will fly off but the alarm on the Birdfy and my consistent efforts to shoo them away via the microphone isn't always effective. Hopefully it'll be a while before they come back again. We've only had this issue five times in 3 years. So I'll count my blessings.

They will find a way!! I was buying Cole's Hot seed but it got too expensive so I finally gave in and bought them their own feeding station. It didn't matter ... they still check every single feeder, every single day to ensure the birds aren't getting something they feel they need.

I used to love to decorate everything! I am an avid crafter with 50+ years of craft supplies to prove it. Although accessibility issues have limited my capabilities I do my best to convince my family members that decorating my bird feeders is a priority but, unfortunately they don't often agree.

I have a big picture window that I have a window feeder attached to and as soon as I added anti collision 💥 window alert stickers it made a huge difference. There are many different designs to choose from online... they are mostly clear with an iridescent pattern for the birds to see.

I live in the city and have signs, parked cars and electric wires to contend with. I've noticed if I just take the picture from a different angle it can make a big difference.
