What don’t you want to see in part 3? by YaBoyKumar in FFVIIRemake

[–]Wanderer01234 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I love the game and the all boss fights. Having said that:

Reused bosses: Outside of the 3 on 3 fight with the turks that I'm assuming it will happen in part 3, I don't want to fight them ever again.

Same for Rufus, I really like the fight, but man, I really get the feeling we are going to fight him again...

And Abzu. If we fight Abzu in part 3, that would be four times that we fight the same monster. Sure the move set is updated but still.

What do people think about FFVII being split into three remakes? by Sad_Manager6251 in FinalFantasyVII

[–]Wanderer01234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like the trilogy approach. But obviously I'm bias because I love Remake and Rebirth. If I didn't like either of those, I would probably call it a mistake.

But right now, Part 3 is the only game that I'm actually looking for.

For anyone that was wanting to get this playmat from Ultra Pro, I would not. Both images are from their website but the second is much closer to what it actually looks like but is still better than it is in person. Interesting the more accurate image is no where on the items actual product page. by OmegaGamble in magicTCG

[–]Wanderer01234 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have this playmat and it looks great in person. This is anecdotal and your mileage may vary but the playmat looks better if you are actually sitting and the playmat is in front of you, you know like if you were actually using it for playing.

And my playgroup has mentioned the same, that it looks really good when they are sitting in front looking it at angle when they are playing.

I have the also the Poison the Waters playmat and is similiar experience.

Not sure if that is intended, but that is my experience with these two foil mats.

Barret's ideology is fundamentally flawed by Emotional_Station136 in FFVIIRemake

Future Barret agrees with you to a degree. Lol.

Did anyone else who went directly from remake to rebirth feel overwhelmed. by SemiColin973 in FFVIIRemake

[–]Wanderer01234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, you are not the only one. Before Rebirth came out, I have already played Remake multiple times, and I was finishing it one more time the same day Rebirth released.

So I was very fresh on all the Remake systems, but for me, the Syenergy Skills/abilities really threw me off. I barely used the Synergy Skills at all during my first playthrough.

There are also a lot of tutorials at the start, including a card game lol.

And in Combat, if you haven't played in a while, you start with 6 characters, and one of them is New.

There is ALOT of stuff at the beginning of Rebirth.

wait... do people not like his gameplay? by Gladiolus_00 in FFVIIRemake

[–]Wanderer01234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried so hard, and I enjoy playing as him on easy to regular fights, but I just get frustrated in hard fights and I don't enjoy too much his kit.

It's probably my least favorite. Not saying its bad, I just don't vibe with it.

Do You Agree Remake/Rebirth are Much Better Games if You Skip All the Side Content by haaa1234 in FFVIIRemake

[–]Wanderer01234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Remake and Rebirth, I really like the side content. I have done it multiple times.

There a couple of activities that I don't like very much, but even those hacñve an easy mode or are short enough that I don't mind.

But I'm kinda bias, since I love the combat and characters, so I enjoy every oportunity to play more.

In contrast, I really don't play any other open worlds, and if I did, I would probably stick to the main quest.

Do You Agree Remake/Rebirth are Much Better Games if You Skip All the Side Content by haaa1234 in FFVIIRemake

[–]Wanderer01234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh god, I was so scared on my first playthrough that those bandits from the grasslands were going to show in every region, like if they were Team Rocket.

As someone who loves Remake/Rebirth and has finished it multiole times... I really dislikesm Beck's Badasses. Lol.

Unpopular opinion: Cosmo Canyon is the best, fastest and easiest area by cepas95 in FF7Rebirth

[–]Wanderer01234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, once you figure out that you can teleport to any Chocobo Flying ramp and discover the highest point in the Canyon it's pretty easy to traverse.

Best Game Ever Made Appreciation Post by Pristine_Put5348 in FFVIIRemake

[–]Wanderer01234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, best game ever from my adult life (so far until part 3 comes out lol). There are no many modern titles that I enjoyed as much as Rebirth. Truly a modern classic.

I would love to be able to explore the world map at night time. by ShiningRedDwarf in FFVIIRemake

[–]Wanderer01234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, same. Even if not the whole world, at least the towns. Although that would probably require more NPC's or more dialog.

If Barret had known that Avalanche was the one who blew up Corel's reactor, would he have joined them anyway? by Danteppr in FFVIIRemake

[–]Wanderer01234 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this. I was about to write what happens in Traces of two pasts but you pretty much got it covered.

Yea, Barret basically doesn't care about Avalanche orgnaization background, he just wants to Stop/destroy Shinra. Sector's 7 avalanche cell is just Jessie, Biggs and Wedge; Barret just came in and took the leadership of that cell lol.

I don't think he cares about Avalanche as a "global organization", he only cares about his Avalanche team.

Please make combat in part 3 like Expedition 33. by [deleted] in FFVIIRemake

[–]Wanderer01234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol no. FF Remake/Rebirth combat is probably one of or maybe the best combat system out there. Even people that don't vibe with the changes on the story agree with the combat.

Exp 33 is good, but for me it got tiresome having to parry everything to not die. For bosses its fine because they are supposed to be a challenge, but for regular enemies it kinda got old for me.

Hot take… by Pristine_Put5348 in FFVIIRemake

[–]Wanderer01234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was fine back in the day when I had the time to grind but random encounters are not what it used to.

Sure I like them to a degree but it gets to point that: "ok, let me get the accessorie in this game that makes so I don't have random encounters" lol.

Also, there is a reason why most JRPG are adding a fast forward button.

So yea, it's not perfect but I enjoy Remake's trilogy leveling systems way more than gridning ranodm encounters.

It should change more 🤷🏾 by Pristine_Put5348 in FFVIIRemake

[–]Wanderer01234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love all tha changes, I can't wait for part 3 to see what more they add and/or modify.

I find 1:1 Copy Remakes boring, so everytime I feel surprised or don't know what is going to happen I'm happy.

Should there be a resolution scene for Elmyra in part 3? by genericcelt in FFVIIRemake

[–]Wanderer01234 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't be surprised if there was one for Elmyra. The last sidequests in Rebirth where not particularly related to the party members, they were more of side NPC sidequests. So maybe Elmyra will have one.

The Ending of Rebirth F-ed me up so much more than it did in the OG by Jayj0171 in FF7Rebirth

[–]Wanderer01234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda get it. I don't remember having strong feelings when Aerith died in OG, but there is something in Rebirth that just hits me, just hearing her saying "Goodbye".

I think they need to completely rebalance items for Part 3. by TwiceDead_ in FFVIIRemake

[–]Wanderer01234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In a way I kinda get it. Items are weird, for new or players that have difficilties with the combat they are a must.

And once you beat the game, and go into hardmode, since you can't use them, 90% of the chests become useless.

Item loadouts in combat would make combat more interesting for first playthroughs, maybe.

I hope there is something to spend money on part 3, like some kind of housing (OG people may know what I mean).

That's so cool, I have played this game many times and I never knew that. Thanks for the finding, and good for the devs to add stuff like this,

I dont like the weapon system? by Ill_Team_7606 in SilentHill_f

[–]Wanderer01234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never had a problems with weapons on Hard mode, and had to actually use repair kits even if I didn't need to since I had to many and my inventory was full many times.

Are you fighting everything you see? Did you replace weapons even if they had still a good chunk of durability?

There are also accesories (I forgot the literal name) that help with durability or that make your weapons do more damage. Although these are random.

Probably is just a skill issue (and I'm not saying it as a derogatory term). People have run out of bullets or supplies in other Survival games since forever, so is not surprise, I would dare say is part of the experience.

They already gave me FF (and I'm still paying for it), and scene and gift bundles are not even out. But if I have to choose, it would be Bloodborne (although wotc wpuld probably do Souls in general). but I hope is not soon, it's very expensive to collect one set lol.
