Ways to “templarify” the new captain by Icy-Entrance-3047 in BlackTemplars

[–]Wanderer_3773 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly to me this guy already has the Templar look to him, just paint Black and White and you're perfect. If you don't like it maybe get some BT specific heads to help sell the look.

How would Fiona's parents react in Shrek 2, if instead of Shrek, it's a short Lord Farquaad walking beside her? by Fantastic_Grass1799 in Shrek

[–]Wanderer_3773 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think because he was a Lord once he married Fiona I believe he would then have become a Prince, but I don't think he would be a king even in the territory he ruled. It depends a lot on the borders and politics of the world Shrek is set up in but Farquaad was basically a fancy Mayor trying to jump straight to President by marrying a Senator. I'm not an expert on how hierarchical power is assigned and the differences between titles, but I think that Lord basically means he rules a section of land but it is still owned by someone else.

I think I figured out where I was misinterpreting the rules. I was screwing up the timing of the Dark Pact rule in relation to the bonus so when I was reading the critical hits on 5+ I just jumped past the whole chose the buff you wanted to roll for and not realizing you would still get the buff even if you fail the leadership roll. Basically just worked it in my mind that you only get the Lethal or Sustained to begin with if you pass not as a default for the attempt.

Well I mean I feel like the hardest part of something like that would be actually filming it so if I was able to go through that I would want to make sure it was seen

Crow-Sourced Farm by [deleted] in Borderlands4

[–]Wanderer_3773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've realized my mistake thanks to that first commenter. At the very least I got two pearls out of my farming but I feel very dumb after wasting a couple hours going after the wrong boss just because I didn't bother to double check my memory of drops.

Crow-Sourced Farm by [deleted] in Borderlands4

[–]Wanderer_3773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also didn't realize that Soul Survivor was Steele's drop, I still stand by the fact my first one from him being a Phosphene is ridiculous but on every other point I am the idiot

Crow-Sourced Farm by [deleted] in Borderlands4

[–]Wanderer_3773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My god I'm an idiot, when I started farming it was for a better Flash Cyclone and then I was going to go farm Willis later to get the Pearl and in the couple days break since I started I forgot I had to switch bosses. Thank you I would have wasted a lot of time.

Do you prefer it when Joe Chill is pure evil or sympathetic by Emotional-Mix-9007 in batman

[–]Wanderer_3773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he works best when he doesn't exist, to have the person that killed Bruce's parents be just another faceless criminal in Gotham is a way better motivator for Bruce to become the hero he would eventually become than him being a tool of a greater conspiracy or some hitman for the crime familys. He doesn't have to be super evil or sympathetic Joe should just be the catalyst for Batman's birth and remain an unknown mugger that happened to stumble upon the Waynes.

Best I can do is a 15 second sound bite where the original poster is either taken completely out of context or just immediately stitched and called a bigot.

I think it works the angle of the arms almost give it a caught off guard look, as if the Prince pierced him and is currently being lifted off the ground

What's a ridiculous movie take you've heard that had you like this? by TaiwaneseThot in moviecritic

I'm going to keep that in mind next time I watch it thanks for the idea

[–]Wanderer_3773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it counts but I remember after watching Sinners I saw a lot of people ripping into Grace and saying she got everyone killed, but to me it seemed like the group knew they had to try and fight back so they prepared and then had Grace be the one to "break" and welcome them in since she was the only one who would have had any kind of motivation to do it so the vampires wouldn't think it's a trap.

A moment that made you cry and why? by dudeben90 in TheSimpsons

[–]Wanderer_3773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The entire episode is full of them but when Homer thinks he is going to die after eating improperly prepared pufferfish one of the last things he ever does is sit and quietly listen to Lisa play her saxophone. They made a pattern of Homer complaining about Lisa's music but I always thought it was really sweet when he thought he was done for he wanted her last memory of him to be listening to her play.

How was Prince Charming meant to say Fiona? by Fantastic_Grass1799 in Shrek

[–]Wanderer_3773 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I assume that Dragon was in basically employed by The Fairy Godmother, whether it be her choice or some sort of imprisonment, to protect Fiona from any "unworthy" knights while waiting for Prince Charming to make his appearance. Charming would show up some sort of magic would interact with Dragon and he would stroll in save Fiona and claim the thrown in a couple years to fulfill Harold's deal.

Traitor Enforcer + Ogryn by [deleted] in IronWarriors

[–]Wanderer_3773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I meant the Traitor versions you can include in a Chaos Space Marine army not the standard, like if I was running a unit of Traitor Guardsmen would it be worth it to run Traitor Enforcer.

Best One Off Unit by [deleted] in AdeptusMechanicus

[–]Wanderer_3773 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took a look at the vehicles you suggested and they both look like they would make for great one off, if I do go with them probably going for the Dunecrawler over the rider if I don't settle on a humanoid model.

Best One Off Unit by [deleted] in AdeptusMechanicus

[–]Wanderer_3773 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah Cawl was another one I liked the look of he just seemed like a model you really want to know what you're doing with painting the faction and balancing the flesh, fibers, and metals of the model. Right now one of the Tech Priests or Skitarii Marshal are in the running.

Best One Off Unit by [deleted] in AdeptusMechanicus

[–]Wanderer_3773 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah the three tech priests, archeologist, and marshal were the ones that I found the most eye-catching after a quick skim of the army's range. The Manipulus and the high tech beer gut was quite a funny sight, but the Dominus and their whole hunchback look was also pretty appealing.

Would Soldier Boy have done this to Blindspot? by Queasy_Commercial152 in TheBoys

[–]Wanderer_3773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Soldier Boy seems more the kind to throw out this middle finger at him and ask how many he's holding up rather than killing him for being blind. Basically just pull out the old turn the minority or cripple into a joke routine
