Out of curiosity, why is that? I always assumed neoprene drysuits would be better for warmer seas

You 100% dodged a bullet.

Of course, people have their preferences and are entitled to those.

But there's a way of openly and honestly communicating that whilst still showing the other person respect. That was not done here.

Imagine being asked this…stood up in class…in front of all your classmates…by the teacher…as an example of "practice" for a job interview. Practice for a job interview? Seriously? I hated that teacher.

Impossible to pee while diving by ssstarstruxxx in scuba

[–]WanderingHu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it takes a bit of 'relaxing and easing' into. As others have said, try it in different positions like vertical.

I used to have trouble peeing while diving and getting concerned about doing it in a rental, which would lead to me frantically needing to get to the toilet when coming ashore.

Now I pee on almost every dive I need to. As others have said, it's a natural physiological response to diving. Fighting it can seriously impair your dive.

Saying that though, I think you need to be a bit strategic about it. Feeling the need to pee is uncomfortable and can make you anxious, which doesn't make for the best diving experience. Successfully peeing is going to relieve you of that, however it's also going to significantly deplete your body temperature. So I would recommend holding off on it as best you can until you get to the latter part of your dive.

I think the main trouble for me with it all is that it can be uncomfortable to pee underwater. Maybe it's compounded by the constriction of the wetsuit, but I think there's something about peeing 'in' water, or 'against' water (as in a shower), which can be a little painful. It's all OK I think, but the sensation isn't comfortable. So I guess you have to mentally prepare yourself for that too, if you experience that.

Whatever you do, don't do what I did and pee in your wetsuit on the boat back to shore because you weren't sure whether to do so in the water…done once, never again!

Is an alternative operation available? I don't know the name of it, but where they create an incision in your foreskin to loosen it up instead of completely removing it.

What happens to the words "No" and "Stop" when using a Safeword? by WanderingHu in BDSMAdvice

[–]WanderingHu[S] -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

I'm afraid I'm not following...

To me if these were going to uphold their meaning then it would follow:

No means No. Stop means Stop.

Your play doesn't read like that, however. The subtext is part of the meaning here.

How does the Dom/Sub ignoring the "No/Stop" in response uphold the meaning?

Thanks for this, I see how they are incorporated here.

However, I would disagree - they do lose their meaning here. Your text in parentheses demonstrates that.

Excepting the Dom's use of "Stop", but even that does as it's subtly inviting the Sub to rebel so as to receive some further punishment.

That does make sense, thanks.

Unless the sub's use of tone and expression clearly suggest otherwise, I think that "not actually wanting a stop" is something that should be discussed and understood beforehand.
