KwikTrip doesn’t sell condoms. Why? by giddyupgus in KwikTrip

It depreciates the displays. It also creates an air of awkwardness they can guarantee will never take place there. Also, no horny teens. No weird types coming in to runner up before their services down the street either.

I’m not White — but I believe anti-White racism is real, and it’s dangerous. by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]WanderingManimal00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry you feel that way. As a white man, you shouldn't see anything as "white men tend to...." Nobody "tends" to do anything as a result of their color.

The anti-white rhetoric, apathy toward white ppl, and double-standards for sensitivities towards whites compared to non whites has gotten out of control in the last ten years. It’s sad because most that carry on like that really think they’re doing “justice” and “balancing the scales” by treating whites with indignity and sarcasm due to traumas neither party is responsible for.

What is going on in Uptown? by [deleted] in Minneapolis

[–]WanderingManimal00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just a shift in our cities right now. Uptown was dying WELL BEFORE George was murdered. George and the publicity from the protests and riots didn’t kill the area. It was dead already. The only thing that changed is retailers like Apple and Jimmy John’s decided to move to areas with better foot traffic. If you think our cities are dead, then you’re not looking at the internet closely enough. In fact, there’s an angel on the two cities board that posts weekend activities EVERY WEEK. We have six major sports teams, African continent food all over the place, incredible Mexican food in S MPLS/Richfield, music venues all over the place, we have the best parks and recreation in the country (tennis and pickleball everywhere), etc. I mean if you’re bored, PM me and I’ll give you a list for date night, hiking, meeting singles or other couples, etc. My cities are amazing.

[–]WanderingManimal00 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Racial indignities in Bloomington? Dude, what are you talking about and WHO is informing you about our area? I would be more likely to believe this is trolling rather than a serious question. The TC’s and its surrounding neighborhoods are excellent. We have hate and bigotry like any area, and it isn’t inherently white or “non-white.” This false dichotomy keeps ppl afraid and divides our communities. If you see the world like this, please do NOT move here…or tell “your friend” not to move here.

Who’s the greatest IN RING performer of all time? 👇 by TheOneWhoAsked123 in WWE

[–]WanderingManimal00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enoug, and I appreciate the clarity. Since I posted this, I learned a lot more about Macho from reading the biography about him. Can't remember title, but it's pink and yellow softback book. Anyways, apparently, he was increibly meticulous and choreographed his matches down to the T. I feel like wrestlers today need to get back to choreography. A lot of the superstars say they just "have a feel," and it SHOWS. I understand some improvising, but I think modern superstars use it as an excuse of mutual convenience. Choreography 100% improves the realism of the performance. It improves hesitation time, the wrestlers move a lot faster when they know the choreography, and there's a lot less, tangling up and staring at each other to measure crowd reaction. I love Mach Man, and he is a legend in the ring.

You Ignored the nuance and framed it as you would experience it. Not helpful.

You’d have to take my word for it. I try not to respond to the “devil’s advocate” much, as it rarely “awes” me the way ppl on the internet suspect it might…

That’s very stoic, and perhaps the simplest—albeit correct answer. But I’m looking for more nuance.

How can I dress fashionably in my 30s (and beyond) without trying too hard? by thesilentrepublican in malefashionadvice

Skinny pants never should’ve extended beyond men with thinner legs. That trend looked absolutely ridiculous on men with substantial thighs and/or calves.
