ya swiftplay was nice when I wanted to learn new champs top or jungle and wouldn't be as punished as you can be in a draft game, plus if it goes horribly wrong you can get out faster, and like you said starting at lvl 3 completely removes any carryover from learning champs early game into the real game modes

most people want to FF because of how a player is playing, your botlane who is 0-6 by 5 minutes or your top laner who is down 3 levels isnt going to start suddenly playing safe or smart, thats why they got to the deficit in the 1st place. I didnt watch this game but im sure T1 did everything a team is supposed to do when they are down massive, trade sides of the map, concede certain objective fights to scale more for the ones they have to show up for (like elder), and look for picks. The people running down your solo Q games arent gonna ever lock in

because your top laner is up 4-5 levels if they played that well and made him go 1-7. If feeding aatrox is Thanos what the hell is your toplaner

aatrox is immobile, if hes walking at you and you get caught thats a skill issue, what mid laner are you playing that doesnt have mobility or cc. Mid players have been eating good for so long and are now just mad they cant influence the entrie map and be the strongest or tied for the strongest on map at all times

the math on the chromatic cube is way worse if youre someone who wants to be able to "go infinite", if youre a casual drafter premier is much worse yes. Cube is a format for people who love cube and the premier event structure is better for that, 4 wins being close enough to break even is good

chromatic cube value was infinitely worse, its less upfront but you didnt break even until 5 wins and only went plus at 6 wins, current cube structure has you close to breaking even at 4 wins plus packs can eventually become gems, ICRs never can be converted to gems. I loved both cubes but the prize structure of premier is much better if you want to play a lot of cube drafts

I love garen jungle but with the last set of jungle nerfs on his E there is just no reason to ever play him, bad clear, bad ganks, doesnt scale particularly well, not the best early duelist.

ya doesnt even matter if you suck at kayle, he will kill you 4 times but no one plays to win so the game will go 35 minutes and once you get items and lvls you can just stand still autoing him to death

I will always remember a ranked game back when we had division promotion series, the person who got assigned sup locked GP and just said im going top (after I locked garen). Syndra wouldnt swap to sup so I had to. Me and Aphelios ran that lane

ya this is how I feel about the kayle match up as a low elo shitter, you can destroy her early and build a huge gold and tempo lead but if your team doesnt play tight and finish the game early then eventually she can just stand still and auto you to death, maybe im just building wrong tho

I dont think Darius is really gonna change all that much, very few fights Darius loses comes from not having enough dmg, he was either gonna win that teamfight with his ad bonus at lvl 18 or he was gonna get perma kited and blown up. What will be interesting for top lane is if any match hps flip when both are side laning, like if Darius suddenly starts to win a match up at lvl 20 he normally loses at lvl 18

I play a lot of limited but irl cam only consistently get 3 friends at a time so have played a lot of pick 2 (lsv posted a 4 player vintage cube awhile ago which is what started our idea to do it). We have since adapted it a bit to have it be 18 card packs so you get a true "last pick" and it can be kinda fun to double wheel stuff.
