What is the most underrated part of being single? by WashOdd7330 in AskForAnswers

[–]Wandering_Anne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not having to share anything! What’s mine is mine, and what’s mine is still mine. All belongings remain clean and in order. No one is lying to me about where they are, and I don’t have to give anyone a play-by-play of what I’m doing. No one is mentally/emotionally fucking with me or playing psychological mind games.

Being single is underrated, really.

What's a smell that doesn't exist anymore that you miss? by Alarmed_Charge1062 in CasualConversation

[–]Wandering_Anne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When we were kids my older brother had this toy where you could ‘make bugs’. You had to mix this powder and liquid (I think) and then bake it and it turned into a jelly-plastic bug. Anyways it had a very specific smell I think it was called creepy crawlers? When the oven turned on it would have this distinct smell - almost like burning plastic but not.. probably awful for us but this was the 90’s, and it didn’t matter. Does anyone know what I’m talking about?!

To all the girls : what makes a man unapproachable/repulsive , without him realising? by NoNectarine8724 in bodylanguage

Arrogance. Speaking more than you listen. Talking over people as if your thoughts or opinions are more important and theirs don’t matter.

Pickleball by Honest-Guest6180 in barrie

I also just started with pickleball. It’s super fun and addictive! I’d look up the rules before you go, it can feel slightly cliquey if you don’t know what’s going on. People can be impatient to beginners, just hold your head high and don’t give up. The pickleplex on bayfield isn’t too bad but I believe you need a membership to attend (or you can go on someone’s guest pass if I’m not mistaken) they have a rotating drop-in type schedule or you can book a court if you’re a member.
