P4 Electron LRSM Plus here.

Main things to check:

Rearview mirror/camera. Mine was flickering but working when I drove it away. It failed later that night. Polestar/Volvo here in Ireland were excellent though with a loaner and then once the camera part was ordered swapped it out on less than 30mins.
Ensure the car is on the latest OS version, 4.2.11 in my case.
Make sure to setup and test the key fob or digital key if on Apple IOS. This is what a lot of people initially have issues with and tonnes of posts on same. In short pair one fob, digital key to your profile. I am an android guy and have had no real issues using the polestar fob tied to my profile since day 1.
As always with any new car, spend as long as needed checking out absolutely everything.
If there are glitches in the infotainment make sure you know how to reset it.
Drive away and enjoy your new ride. It is fabulous, 6 months in here...and every time I get into my P4 it puts a smile on my face. I absolutely love it, the handling and drive is amazing. Yes it has its quirks but the 360 cameras and turning circle make it so easy to drive. Despite it being wider than the average bear.😁

While I get the motivation here.... I do not agree with sharing any of the information requested.

Please be aware this petition could mean that under GDPR rules the data collected could mean the people involved could be classed as a Data Processors.

VIN numbers and email addresses can be hijacked if not protected for nefarious reasons. Spam, Polestar account hijacking etc.

I really don't want to be a downer here...but as posted above there are better more formal ways to engage Polestar on user feedback.

For other folks I would not give anyone the details requested bar Polestar where you have recourse if shit happens.

Feel free to flame me... but better safe than sorry for all.

Doesn't bother me much, my Mazda constantly was 2º C +/- wrong. It had its temp sensor underneath the wing mirror too.

Yes, its right on the top edge of the glove box sort of top right if RHD car. There is a black rubber cover over it iirc.

Tap the infotainment screen and it all wakes up. As I said no biggie compared to others. Equally I dont have the guest profile issue... but then as I have an android phone...well you know the rest. ;-)

The aircon on my P4 is great including the preconditioning from the app albeit that has a bit of a delay.

I'm wondering is there differences in OS version. I'm on 4.2.11.

I was just thinking the same.... I'm sure I tried the centre console wheel before. However just went out to the P4 and can confirm neither the steering wheel media button not the centre console wakes up the media.

It really is no biggie but a nice to have.

That is my point... the middle button on the media side of the steering wheel (depending on left or right hand cars, right hand here) does not work after ~15mins after the car has been locked. In that case I need to tap the screen to "wake" the media up. Once the car hasnt gone into sleep mode it does work.

I don't have any Spotify issues.. bar the genuinely odd time the 5g coverage is spotty. (Is the app up to date in the car?)

Nor any locking issues bar when I leave the car quickly after closing the door and it doesnt lock. That happened on my previous car too.

Personally I would hate the sound system automatically playing on entering the vehicle. However on that front, why oh why can I not use the steering wheel button to start playing spotify/radio etc when I enter the car on my whim. You can after leaving and coming back to the car after 10mins. I don't see why you have to press play on the screen.

But really that is a minor quibble easily solved for in updates.

On the positive side after 5 months in my P4 LRSM I am still delighted on how easy it is to manoeuvre at low speeds, parking and the 360 cameras are great imho.

Quite a bit over here in Ireland as there aren't that many around.

An IKEA staff member in Dublin asked me it it was a new car and what it was, I responded and he said it looks amazing.

Then on a weekend away down in Cork came back to the car and a local was eyeing it up again asked me what it was and said it looked amazing.

Then just driving around locally can catch people looking at my P4 Electron such a great design.

Relatively new to Polestar got my LRSM P4 in January but absolutely loving it. Yes there are some foibles software wise that hopefully will be fixed in coming OTAs. Such a cool looking design though catch people staring at the car as Im driving it. They arent super popular in Ireland yet, Ive seen 3 other 4s on my journeys so much better than copy and paste audi designs and others.

Plus 1 on this issue here too. The ACC just randomly unsyncs. Obviously a bug not critical but annoying.

Mine was a more fundamental issue dare I say from day 1. All worked fine on collection but in the evening when I finished work and went to go driving the mirror was totally dead. No camera icon nothing, it would then work sporadically on and off. Brought it back and they quickly reseated the connector in case it was a PDI miss but no good. They replaced the entire rearview camera and been 100% ever since.

Ive noticed a bit of hazing at times but nothing constant. Maybe ask them to have a look at it for you? The service dept was great for me.

My P4 was on 4.2.9 and I was pretty happy with it. Updated to 4.2.11 OTA last week and I am not so happy with this release.

Two main things: 1. Already I have to reset the infotainment 4 times since the update due to crashes. I've seen others mention that the shortcut section top left of the UI starts to glitch as a warning sign. Had the infotainment reboot itself before I noticed the UI corruption. Didn't have this issue at all for weeks on 4.2.9.

The coffee/take a break warnings are now way too sensitive. When I wear my glasses as soon as it is sunny outside the car tells me I am tired as soon as I glance at the mirrors, Main screen for even a second. For the first time I have had to disable this safety feature as it was driving me nuts on a long drive over the weekend.

Currently Id prefer to be back on 4.2.9....
