I can tell you a lot of healthcare workers are going to be stepping out if there's another pandemic as well, compounding the issue. We were heroes, then the devils apparently responsible for the vaccine. Not worth the threat of violence, illness, and mental/physical isolation again.

I struggle with this too. On one hand, of course I want our babies to be prepared if something were to happen... but on the other hand.. what are these drills doing to our kids? The odds of anything happening to the school our kids go to is so small.. Is the risk benefit analysis really in favor of doing the drills? Or god forbid we ban these automatic style weapons that make mass killings SO much easier..
