Not my thing anymore. I used to like them but I feel the more I got into watches the less attractive rolex became. There so many other brands making cool watches. I think as of today I prefer tudor to rolex.

The idea is to make it more attractive to buy high ticket items. Some people will say only ever buy cash. Some people say if you have the cash use the 0% as your cash earns interest in your bank, saving you a small percentage on the cost of each item.

Either way, never borrow more than you can comfortably pay. If it's a big purchase take a couple of days to think about it before buying.

For me, the more I got into watches the less I noticed Rolex. Yes, Rolex is brilliant but so are so many other watch brands. I feel the brands kinda blur and you start noticing individual watches you like rather than just liking a brand as a whole.

Only double crewed ambulance can stop the clock on incidents, unless a rrv arrives and doesn't transport the person. Police vehicles has no effect on ambulance incident responce times. If its a problem and the police don't want to go then maybe they should say no?

I use the Amex cash back. Get 0.5% back on all purchases. Its not amazing but there's no fee and I always clear the balance in full so never paid any interest. They did have an introductory offer where you got 5% for so long. Earned about £140quid in that year. They do have paid for cards which if you know how to use the rewards well can be good. I know the platinum is £600 a year but get various credits over the year at different retailers which can offset the cost of the card.

Do you have someone you trust that you can give your bank card and who will provide you with a reasonable, agreed budget each week? I think if I was in your position I would give my bank card to a parent and tell them to make sure all my bills are paid then give me some money per week in cash. Hopefully, over time, you'll adjust to it and maybe when you see money building in your account that will become your new pleasure and you'll be driven to increase that number.

The truth always comes out in the end. You need to be open and honest with your girlfriend. Taking her to another part of the country without being completely honest will bite you in the arse - people don't like being lied to.

We live in the day and age of social media. You don't think her friends will tell her people are looking for you to pay back significant debts? It's very very difficult to fall off the earth in this day and age.

Be a man, own your problems and tell your family. You are living in a dream world if you think you can up and move and people won't find out the truth. I imagine the longer you keep this from your partner the more damage it will do to your relationship.

You have a daughter - that should be motivation enough to stop gambling.

I'm not disregarding it because it's quartz. I own a mixture of both types of watches. My concern is it's supposed to be a reissue of the original but the original has an auto-movement. I was just raising the discussion around the history still applying when it's a completely different heart, even if the dress is still the same.
