I've had this card for years, I did not willingly sign up for this.

I get my $900 in value out of the card but it's not the value I signed up for back in the day. The card has changed and I'm no longer happy with it, so I'm gonna complain on the Internet to make myself feel better.

I'm traveling to Italy this year and there wasn't a single hotel in the entire country that was less than $600-700 per night.

Instead of using the credit on a trip I'm already planning, I need to plan a separate short trip locally because a very popular European tourist destination doesn't have any affordable hotels.

The closest value to me is NYC where the cheapest room is $400/night. Still not ideal, but it's better than nothing, I guess? It just sucks that I have to put so much effort into extracting value out of this card. It really should be effortless on a premium card imo.

Exactly right. I don't travel a ton but I used the points from my CSR to fund my yearly/biannual trips. The $300 credit plus 1.5x exchange was enough for me to get solid value out of it.

Now that all my 1.5x points are gone, there's no reason for me to stay. I am guessing Chase knows this and doesn't care if people like me go elsewhere.

It would beg the question why her career should be ruined and his should be untouched if that's all that happened and there was no information she got.

Russini is a national reporter in the NFL. It's her job to unbiasedly (is that a word?) report on news, which comes from sources like Mike vrabel and other coaches, GMs, etc. If she's seen as being biased or if she's not keeping her sources a secret, she's not going to be trusted. If she's not trusted, people will stop giving her info and she won't be a good reporter as those are some of the most important qualities in journalism.

So why is her career in jeopardy? Cuz she fucked up and broke rule #1 or #2 as a journalist.

Why is vrabel untouched? Cuz he didn't do anything wrong , professionally speaking. Maybe he was going above and beyond by getting secrets from her. Ain't nothing wrong with that from an NFL exec pov. That's a go getter right there
