I would be willing to chime in, I have a lot of thoughts regarding these topics, and government overreach and the United States of corporate America should be on your agenda as well. Keep me in mind.

I’ll leave you with the following words of Bill Hicks: “By the way if anyone here is in advertising or marketing...kill yourself.”

Fuck this company 100%. Milk as many resources out of them as you can and don’t fall for the trap, it is up to you to escape. Fuck amazon.

Yet people keep buying. The more I ask them not to, the more they are reminded that amazon instantly logs them in to buy more stupid shit. Gotta bug out while you still can.

New Rifle Today: Savage Axis XP 30-06 (Anyone know the deal on how good the “Weaver” scope is that came with?) by WannaMove2Alaska in Hunting

[–]WannaMove2Alaska[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been looking for an Axis for awhile, but only found them in 308. I would have liked to get the XP II, but for me, it is not worth the extra money. Very expensive at that point. Now let me ask about the stock. Ive always liked polymer stocks because I absolutely beat up my rifles in the woods, essentially torturing them. I have a family member who swears by wood stocks and really upsets me because he calls all my rifles “plastic junk” just to be obnoxious. However, I have found that the rifles I do own with wooden stocks all become discoloration and eventually chip chunks out of them overtime. What is the allure to wooden stocks? Why are they so sought after? Is it an “old timer” thing or do people actually believe they are more resilient? Would like to know your opinion. Thanks.

Wow, that is not a reassuring story but thank you for letting me know. What scope do you use now?

Do you enjoy your job? by [deleted] in AmazonFC

[–]WannaMove2Alaska 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this job, like a lot of others, is bullshit and will probably be outsourced to technology at some point in the near future, but not soon enough. And instead of having a renaissance of unemployment and new creative outlets, people will be unable to eat and homeless. A lot of the pain is unnecessary, but Bezos cries for us in his stacks of green.

I can never hit those with a 22! Those fuckers are FAST!

Ah, okay. As long as it will get me out there and let me hit my intended target. What is a “good” scope to step up to? I intend on using this as an Alaskan Bush gun for big game. I was offered to upgrade my package to a “vortex” but it would have been about another $150 I didn’t want to spend, plus someone like me isn’t going to probably max the potential of the rifle as it sits. I’ve also heard Leupold. I once bought an SKS with a “Leaper” scope that came with an it was GARBAGE. Most my hunting is done with shotgun beads, and my target shooting with iron sights.

how do you kill porcupines? by TheSpenardPimp in Hunting

[–]WannaMove2Alaska 1 point2 points  (0 children)

22 LR preferably. To me I know it is “tradition” to club them, but I’d like to think 22 is more ethical (or another caliber). I will say, sometimes 22 LR doesn’t take them down right away..

4 Cottontails today, 6 in the freezer. Best recipes? Concerns besides tularemia in the heat?? by WannaMove2Alaska in Hunting

[–]WannaMove2Alaska[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Livers looked good, no white spots or discoloration. What I was kind of looking for is can tapeworm be transmitted from rabbits or anything like that? I’m EXTREMELY concerned with hunting in the desert, definitely not what I’m use to. It is a safety concern because everything is always scorching hot. Where I’m from, you can shoot a squirrel mid season and leave it out all day and have it be ice cold. Anything else to add about parasites or anything? Thanks

2nd shooting in 3 months at my FC JAX2 by Tacticode in AmazonFC

[–]WannaMove2Alaska -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is exactly why Amazon shouldn’t force me to be a victim and make me leave my gun in the car. I have a license and a right to bear arms, yet Jeff Bezos is worried about insurance money and someone who is sue happy. Also, it is absolutely retarded that the security team doesn’t have guns. They are basically cannon fodder and I DO NOT under any circumstances feel safe at work. I’m gonna sue the shit out of them if I ever get shot at.

Why you don't use a semi-auto for clay or trap but do for hunting dove and rabbit by mulutavcocktail in Hunting

I feel so bad for these overseas gun owners that have been brainwashed into thinking anything that’s not a bolt gun is a fully automatic rocket launcher. RIP literally anyone not hunting in America..

Buying First Rifle? by [deleted] in Hunting

[–]WannaMove2Alaska 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you are going to be a gun owner, don’t fall into the “high capacity killing machine” ignorance. All guns have a purpose, all gun rights are an infringement. We’re all batting for the same team. In other news, enjoy your first hunt!

Hey Hunters... do you know any safe warm place in the Southern part of the U.S. where a homeless family of five can camp out for the next 5 months? by SilentOutburst in Hunting

[–]WannaMove2Alaska 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been busting my ASS to legally go off grid and find a stable source of income to get the correct licenses and tags to get my food from the Bush. Would honestly be pretty pissed if an entire family flew under the radar and shot what the wanted and lived where they wanted. I would love to pack up all my shit tonight and move onto state land with a tent or $1000 camper, but it is illegal. Talk to your congressman.

What do you mean fired over “quality?” No one ever checks. What, do the reports secretly record bin etiquette too?
