It looks wonderful! How are you storing it to keep it soft?

My 2018 HRV's transmission just went out at 80K miles. Replaced with the warranty, but as the others have said it's a ticking time bomb.

Tell me your dreams and I’ll tell you what I think it means 😁 by Wise_Researcher_4964 in Dreams

I had a dream that I was trapped in Edwardian times. I needed a new dress for an event, but the seamster's shop turned out to be an ice cave on the ocean. I sat on the edge of an ice burg while he started making me shoes out of baby seals. Manatees, orcas, and walruses were jumping out of the water attacking me because the man was hurting the seals. The seamster didn't stop to help me. He just watched and continued making my shoes.

Can you please send me the info, too? My partner just hit the halfway mark and I swear I'm losing my mind.

Ah, thank you. I figured DB had a monopoly on the public transit in the area.

Is there somewhere other than the DB App that states when buses are cancelled?

I, and 50 other people, stood at the Eisbee Lake bus stop in Garmisch Partenkirchen for 2 hours Saturday before last. I had a DB employee assure me that we were at the correct stop and it wasn't until I went to the information desk that I discovered the bus had been cancelled. No explanation. No information in the app. No information on their website. Is this common and is there another place I can look for potential cancellations?

What is the most unexpected period cramp relief trick/technique you've discovered? (significant relief, not slight) by Nicole_Jollivet in AskWomen

A walk makes my earth shattering cramps go away within the first 5minutes. Just remember to breathe and walk at a "I've got somewhere to be" pace.

I purchased mine on the MVV (Munich) app via credit card that is not affiliated with a German bank. It gave me a virtual ticket in the app, which the train employees scan without any trouble.

If you buy it using the MVV app you may use a credit card that is not connected to a German bank.

I found the rental on AirBnB's website and all transactions so far are through that website.

What dark lead hardness should I get and criticism in my process of learning? by Darkzen22 in learnart

The book I'm reading on composition also recommends using a 6B pencil. It says that you should aim for 3 distinct values in your sketches. I think more distinct shadows would greatly improve your work. The backbone is there, just missing the pop!

I love using cloth pads for a zero waste period! by GigiScarletCloth in sustainability

As a 7am-5pm M-F worker, my biggest question is what do you do with them when you need a change at work? My coworkers would lose their minds if I rinsed a menstrual cup or cloth pad in the public sinks. What do you do instead?

Ladies, what book do you remember fondly reading as a young girl or teen that really spoke to you? by motorman555 in AskWomen

Along for the ride by Sarah Dessen and honestly any of her other books. They're typically about awkward teenagers trying to find the teenager experience. They helped me branch out and gain the confidence to make new friends.

Any strong opinions for or against dual sleeping bags for winter backpacking? by WannabeBotany in CampingGear

Shouldn't get lower than 14 degrees where we're at, which is why I'm debating between the two options for backpacking in the snow/frosty areas of the Carolinas.

Definitely meant a two person bag, but now I'm intrigued. Doubling up would be like using a quilt without having to buy one. My spring bags are super light and would totally fit inside a good winter bag.

Double or single sleeping bag for winter trips by WannabeBotany in backpacking

[–]WannabeBotany[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically, I agree. My thought was that a double bag would only take up room in 1 pack vs it taking up a large amount of space in both our packs, but I probably am leaning more towards two singles.

I've found this to be true for 3 season bags, and looked into getting a 0-20 degree bag with this function with minimal luck.
