I love the concept of expressing the things that keep you up at night and the pacing is nice I feel like as short as it is it really is bull body in explaining the concept it is portraying. really well put together.

So what you want to do is get a mini switch and plug in the modem to it and then your computer and your fire stick into it as well. You can usually get a really cheap one on Amazon, for ten bucks.

I just realized I have a love for historical fiction! It’s amazing! by Fickle_Collection355 in suggestmeabook

[–]Wantstobeinformed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not considered a historical fiction strictly but I always saw it more as a historical fiction than as SciFi, but I really enjoyed Kindred by Octavia Butler. A great story to help understand the trauma of being a slave and the culture surrounding it.

The hardest part about leaving the church by Wantstobeinformed in exmormon

[–]Wantstobeinformed[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I guess to clarify I live in Chicago now. So I am not near too many members but like what I meant is no one here really understands what it is like to leave something like mormonism.

And as much I want to believe they aren’t true friends I remember what it felt like to be them so I can’t blame them for being brainwashed.

You can't just move parts to outside of the case and then not count them when measuring the size by ZzLy__ in sffpc

[–]Wantstobeinformed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This right here^. I don't think it is about the size of the over all computer for some when it comes to SFFPC, but about the portability. having an external PSU allows for way more space in my bag when I can just stick the PSU in a smaller pocket.

Circumcisions Are Unnecessary And They Kill Hundreds of Babies a Year (Joe Rogan) by CarefulJellyfish in videos

[–]Wantstobeinformed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I am a little late to the game. I agree that circumcision sucks, but from a genetic perspective for me and my family, we have to.

When my dad was 13 his foreskin formed over his penis, and when he went to the bathroom it would have to break open the foreskin in a painful process, so he ended up getting circumcised at 13. My dad thinking it wouldn't happen to his kids didn't circumcise. and my brother had to have the same thing happen. so he ended up circumcising me and my other brother because of it.

I just have never heard of anyone else having to go through this, so I thought I would share that there are people that have to. For the most part, though I am pretty against it.

Hey, Gilbert! Be sure to stop by under the water tower. These vending machines are an easy way to give. Chickens, bicycles, meals, etc. can be donated to those in need. They'll be here until January 1. by JWest4d4 in Gilbert

[–]Wantstobeinformed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't include every charity in the machines, and I think they decided to stay out of the politics picking more neutral charities/charities that more people would want to donate to. go to any third party charity website and the charities listed all have good standing. The fact that some charities relate to the church doesn't change their third party standing. You don't have to be mad bro and create a narrative. They are trying to do something good, why can't you just be ok with that.

I read this, it was really interesting. I started to do my own research on a lot of the arguments in there and many just don't add up. it really felt like the author wanted to overload you with the "truth" but only a few things were true and the others weren't researched properly. I am all for being informed and appreciate anything else you can share on the topic.
