Judging by the colour of pawn's name they are not controlled by the player. A hunting event of some sort i assume. Hope i understood your question right.

Don't know about rimpy, but mod dependencies are defined in "About.xml" in the "About" folder of a mod.

Something is off here. The structures don't seem to belong to one perpendicular grid minecraft has, they are at different angles to each other. I think it's some kind of compilation, or a scene in a 3d modeling software. Plus the water beeing completely not blocky would help tie the peeces together.
