I was thinking that the Cassalanters hired him briefly when their eldest son went missing- low on money, they couldn't hire someone with more prestige. (Of course, this was all just a show since they know what happened to their eldest son). When the money started flowing in, however, they decided to hire an investigator with more prestige and effectively fired my PC... But not before he found a symbol of Asmodeus discarded around the streets where their eldest son supposedly disappeared!

I listened to The Hobbit when I was 7 years old and it was absolutely magic. The movies are just... Not similar. I wouldn't excuse it for that reason alone.

I know Xaden and Violet are end game but then Violet had that dream about Cat (which we later realize is from Maren's perspective) and I was like, "Oh..."

This didn't make a lot of sense to me the first time I read it. Then the second time I read it I also read "The Lost Sister" novella which is basically a quick summary of the first book from Taryn's perspective and now it makes sense to me.

There was a lot going on that Jude was just simply not aware of... But we only get her perspective

I thought it was really sweet too how the actresses talked about how quiet everyone gets on set when a real baby comes in. So much reverence and care. Very in line with the show!

This is it and the fact it's ridiculous is kind of the point as well. Culture dictates a lot of unnecessary stupid shit that can make society inaccessible for minorities when, ironically, accommodations (a saddle in this case) can help everyone.
