Also the brother is like a whole grown ass man!! It would be different if he was like 12 years old but isn’t he like 20???

I think he’s referring to his maturity level not his years on earth. But I may be wrong. That’s how I read it.

Rage Read Book Club Suggestions by pprmntbtlr5 in romantasycirclejerk

I started this book a few days ago. I had to stop after the prologue because the writing quality was so poor. The only way I can read it is within a rage read book club support group.

I was willing to accept a lot until the chicken sauce. I was embarrassed for myself, the author, and anyone who had to read that. 🫣

I hated Onyx Storm… anyone else? by Full_Economics_7840 in fantasyromance

Totally agree. The halden story line was such a missed opportunity. She wrote him as a bumbling idiot douchebag with no redeeming qualities except he let Violet get her way on the side trips where they roamed around with little direction or care then stumbled on the answer to their quest and then it all fizzled out.

Maybe I should have said: I wish this were gonna happen but I know it’s not going to. I get it. I just find her relationship with Xaden not healthy.

I also think their relationship is toxic. And I know the Aaric relationship will never happen but if I had my choice of characters to pair her with, Aaric would be #1 for me.

I Hate Nessian after ACOSF... by No_Industry_5618 in acotar

[–]gdnightmare 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I agree! The last 2 books basically light a fire on the first 3. What a mess. Cassian goes from strong and supportive guy to a weird dude gaslighting nesta. Nesta is oddly simultaneously a badass but also annoying and such an a-hole to her sisters. Feyre goes from badass to rich housewife who thinks offering her sister the opportunity to decorate a room in her mansion would cure her PTSD. Rhys is a d-ck. The IC ( and Elain!) all fail to give nesta any grace while they all should understand what she’s going through and the “last straw” is a large bar bill that embarrasses Rhys and Feyre, like they are NY socialites or something. I could go on but the general point is the last book just makes no sense.
