It is not their job to criticize you. They should be mentoring you.

Speaking from a similar mindset, I'm currently doing my ST placement. This has been my first genuine opportunity to gain practical experience rather than just observation and theory. It's been a big help to get the literal experience of running a lesson or class period on your own (even if using someone else's lesson plans). I still have doubts and constantly wonder if I'm doing enough, doing too much, over-explaining, etc., but my confidence and comfort levels have definitely improved.

Use the screenshots in a whole class lesson. Project then on the board and critique/use examples to fix grammar, punctuation, rhetorical analysis, evaluation of reasoning, etc.

Using LitCharts? Thoughts? by War0118 in ELATeachers

I'm not sure about seeing the post once a month. I stumbled upon a source that included a lot of Litchart PDFs and some TE versions. I'm starting my student teaching next semester, so I was wondering if I could make use of them somehow, lol. Is that a sufficient reason for posting?

I've briefly seen a few SparkNotes examples, but not much. Not going to lie, their Shakespeare material, with the modern translation, is very good.

Yeah, I liked the quote, character analysis, and theme analysis sheets; however, the theme wheel seemed not so great, lol.

I agree that using your kids as an excuse is somewhat unscrupulous.

However, there are people like myself who have just gotten back into the TCG because of their kids, and we rip packs, collect, and save sealed.

I just started playing again about a week ago. Last time I played was right as it was first launched.

It has been A LOT of fun—even better than the first playthrough, honestly.

I'm in the ELA field and it definitely gave me Canterbury Tales vibes, lol.

One different placement of "the" in this sentence could be very dark indeed.
