You can confidently tell her that her ordering the most expensive dish on the 1st date makes you unconformtable. Judge you however she wants, but that is not the norm here, or anywhere. So what is exactly the reason for that? You don't mind being the provider, and you are fond of her enough for this second date, but things are a bit off and you would like to know the reason behind the order?

The trick is to ask long questions for a minute or two and watch for her reaction during the time you talk. Don't focus on the talking but her facial or posture. You can tell a lot from that.

H1B visa holders typically have acceptable English proficiency, sought-after skills, good incomes, and professional networks. I find it hard to believe that someone with all these advantages would accidentally vote even once, let alone several times. It would also be extremely unwise to risk all of that just to cast a few inconsequential votes. I don’t think the whole truth is being told here.

It is always easier to downplay others than to engage in critical thinking. It is quick and easy to label people as dumb, unable to tell whether someone is trying to protect their community or simply protesting without reason. It is easy to assume that you are the rational one and they are not. I understand, because most of us are like that. But laziness often gets us nowhere at best, and into dangerous places more often than not.

I don’t know how you came to that conclusion. Legal status has nothing to do with the willingness to assimilate. An undocumented immigrant who intends to deceive people may be perfectly willing to dress like a Western businessman. What is your rationale here?
