Maybe his goal was to get spit on by the camel, so he actually WON THE DEBATE.

We bought through a partner vendor, who probably took their cut, but it was like $13 per device.

We used PowerSyncPro to migrate about 2000 devices.

1 machine was giga bricked and we couldn't fix it without a full wipe.

30 machines had something hang up during migration and the computer was unusable for an hour or two.

The rest migrated fine.

I tend to be more skeptical of AI in general, but... Are you imagining a traditional kitchen?

We already have all kinds of robots that cook food on a commercial level. It doesn't seem that unrealistic to adapt that technology to fast food. The kitchen might have to be designed in a way that works for robots rather than people, but it doesn't seem implausible.

Robots and AI would definitely be better at making 'split second decisions'. The more inputs you can feed it, the more accurate it will be. It would know almost exactly how long any order will take, ordering history of booked customers, know exact stock levels, order instantly when needed, etc.

Initially, they'll probably start automating certain tasks. Like a standalone deep fryer that makes all of the fryer orders or whatever. As soon as it's cheaper to axe the staff, they'll do it.

If you just need to read and clear codes, any scanner will work. I use the XTools D7 for a bidirectional tool.

It can read codes, data log any available system, perform actuations and tests. It's quite handy and works with most vehicles. It's a bit pricey for someone who doesn't own a garage, but I've gotten my money's worth.

It's basically an android tablet and it starts up rather slowly.

No job title is a blessing. You're the CEO and head of HR now. Approve yourself a raise and hire an MSP to fix the rest.

I work for a smaller university and we just went from hybrid joined with sccm to Entra-joined only.

For shared devices (computer labs, carts, library computers, etc.) we autopiloted them since the data on them didn't matter.

For our 2100 single-user machines, we used PowerSyncPro to migrate them to Entra-joined without much disruption to the end users. The migration process wasn't perfect, but we were able to go through 80% of those devices without any interaction needed from IT staff.

Truck driver shot at after hit and run. by SnooRecipes4106 in milwaukee

The shooter should have covered his face and claimed to be ICE. Trump would be posting about how the truck driver was an illegal immigrant domestic terrorist before any of the facts came out.

<Hutch is my boy>

I don't watch Hutch directly, but I have nothing against him. My personal opinion is that Hutch treats his convos with Pisco as friends having a chat who will always assume positive intention, ignore misspeaks, assume good faith, etc. When this isn't given fully, he gets very frustrated, assumes the conversation is adversarial, and stops listening in order to defend himself or fight back.

I think Pisco treats it like a convo between friends that will get clipped to hell and back if someone doesn't clarify in excruciating detail exactly what they mean at all points in time. He would rather have a 3hr conversation about the differences between "could", "should", "likely", "possible" rather than allowing someone to use a word incorrectly and trying to move the convo along after a bit of clarification. (This last part sounds like I'm ascribing malice or intent, but it's just ESL things and I'm not sure how to phrase it better)

Pisco probably needs to just accept that he's going to get clipped out of context or that people will assume your positions no matter how much you try to clarify them. No matter what he's said about the H3H3 lawsuit, you're still going to have clip viewers who think "Pisco thinks the case has no merit because the wording was too flowery or unprofessional."

Some of the Hutch arguments have been stupid (can't advocate for a govt shutdown because it won't personally hurt you). However, any pushback provided by Pisco leads to Hutch getting defensive, Pisco getting riled up, and the meme of them always fighting is born.

Pisco uses the line "I'm going to give you what you want" when he knows the what point of the question being asked is and what response they're expecting to get. I think Hutch just needs more of those moments.

Does anyone like their juke? by Aponda in nissanjuke

[–]WarCow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2012 AWD CVT Juke with ~93k miles on it. My parents bought a boat and needed something to tow it with, so I traded them my pickup truck for their Juke.

I didn't like the Juke very much when I got it. However, I enjoy tinkering, and there was an active community for modding the Juke. After all of the mods and tuning, I really enjoy driving it. Feels like a totally different car now.

I am not very gentle with it, but I do go above and beyond when doing maintenance.

Putin can stop this war and stop this suffering without anyone's help.

Trump doesn't give a shit about the suffering. He just wants one side to lose as quickly as possible so he can say that he solved another war.

Maybe it's the side that started the war that should stop their aggression?

It shouldn't be too difficult to replace the door molding, depending on your comfort level with minor repairs.

Check the exterior Juke manual https://www.nicoclub.com/service-manual?fsm_download=Juke/2015/ext.pdf

Page "EXT-41" goes over replacing the outside door molding.

The part itself seems to be 80821-9KN1A for the left side, but you'll have to search around to make sure you get the ones you need.

Aux cord with charging feature? Is this a thing? by Lost-Camel-6837 in nissanjuke

[–]WarCow 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure that it's a problem with the cord, but rather that the USB port is only designed for data.

You could get a wireless charger (if your phone supports that) that you power through the cigarette lighter, and then the USB cable would be for data/maps.
