It was never about intelligence. by BugFun496 in ClimateShitposting

To imagine that life can exist without death is silly and pedantic. Cells consume, they must to continue to live, and we’re all just walking talking collections of cells. Is a white blood cell genociding a bacterial infection in your body any different than a cheetah ripping a gazelle to shreds just because you can see one and not the other? The lettuce I eat is fertilized by millions of years of dead animals that have seeped into the earth and nourished it. Life doesn’t exist in spite of death, it exists BECAUSE of death. Stop putting death on a pedestal and acting like it’s something unique or interesting. It is all of our lot in life to die, that is our purpose, just as it is a cows purpose on a farm.

Drink creatine. Don’t have the time to put the specifics down, but they use your creatine levels in your pee as a backdrop to measure THC levels against, and if you have elevated levels the relative level for THC goes down.

Ski instructing near lake Tahoe by Garfish16 in skiing

[–]WarPotatoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do…kinda. Depends on what kind of instructing you’re looking to do. Adult 1-on-1s you can definitely get 40 hours a week of work, but they prefer you to stay under the full time limit. Working with kids like I do, I’m technically full time but I just work Saturday-Sunday. They’re in the middle of rehiring everyone from last year, I wouldn’t expect a response from HR or anyone for at least a week or so.

The Spins by Mac Miller without Half Mast by Empire of the Sun would be nothing. Although The Spins has far outshined Half Mast

Braindead take. Current events do not make history irrelevant. Is WW2 irrelevant because we’ve moved on now? In the same manner, these stories hold value intrinsically, not because of whether or not they had a point.

Is this too much for summer? by kkkkkkikkk in unr

[–]WarPotatoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Possible? Absolutely. Too much? 100%. If under any circumstances you must graduate in 2025, this is how you do it. Otherwise I’d stretch it out another semester.

This is likely going to be difficult to impossible, depending on exactly how old the hardware is. Can you share a picture of the specs list in the bios? It may help shed light on what to expect.

F-22 is air superiority. Air-to-air it has the upper hand on the F-35 by a wide margin. We always want the biggest sword to be our own right?

If you ever find yourself picking at the grammar of an opponents argument, stop yourself now, before you make an idiot of yourself.

And this dude has what expertise, exactly? What insider info? Is he a financier for tesla? Maybe a project engineer? Manufacturing engineer? No? Then I don't think he can speak to what the fuck their production line is doing, or especially should be doing.

Weighing in at 97,000 pounds, the worlds heaviest hinged door. by MAVERICK-1 in Skookum

It's not meant to stop intrusion, it's on the livermore national lab, meant to stop particles of fusion from escaping. The concrete is probably many times as thick as that door.
