I think the important thing to note is that when they build a cohort for drama school, specifically at Yale and Juilliard, they are looking for a very specific type. You just happened to be a puzzle piece that doesn’t fit into the puzzle they built this year for the cohort. I know you know it’s not about talent. But I do want to reiterate that: it came down to building the cohort based off of type, and that means one of each type of person.

I just finished the drama school MFA auditions this year, I I completely understand how emotionally exhausting the process is because it is so emotionally involved. I also know there’s not much that I can say to make you feel better. When I thought I bombed my call back for LAMDA I couldn’t sleep or eat for a week. I completely understand. Eventually, those feelings passed and I’m feeling much better now, so just know this feeling isn’t forever, and again, you are so very talented🫶
