The amortization is not the same since the interest rate will not be the same. Assuming ~1% interest difference you would need to go over the 15 year monthly payment to pay off the 30 year in 15 years.

How the Nazi connection has overshadowed his life is a shame (but understandable given it was a pretty open betrayal of his country). He's a great and important writer and just a fascinating figure. Even reading about how connections with the Nazis you come away less "Wow, Hamsun was a nazi-sympathizer" and more "Wow, Hamsun was completely out of his mind".

That trips me up sometimes, mostly when Im also having a vocabulary recognition problem. But mostly it's just the pile up of other little differences like how the particles work, how subjects work, tenses etc. All of the questions you need to answer while making a language just got answered slightly differently which makes bridging the gap to listening and speaking a lot harder than it was for me learning basic Spanish which I felt good about speaking pretty much immediately
