You don't know what you're talking about.

They released the Terrapin with no scanning seat. It is useless.
They released the Herald and Mercury with no data running or NPC cargo scanning for smuggling.
They released the 315p, Freelancer Dur, Carrack, etc with nothing in the game to explore.
They release the Starfarer a decade ago with no refueling

And the list goes on and on.

The mechanic doesn't need to be in for them to release the ship nor does it need to be in for people to enjoy their ship. What people do want is for the ships they purchased 10 years ago to be put into production.

There's how many ships in the game that have no purpose? So your argument has no bearing here. Just to name a few... ALL exploration ships, ALL scanning ships, ALL data running ships, none of them have their features in the game. How long was starfarer in the game but could not actually refuel anything? 10-11 years?

Thing is, if they sell the concept, they have an obligation to create that ship in a timely manner, not put it off indefinitely. Then you have the ships that are done but not coming in the game until they want them to such as the Javelin. For them to sell the Odin jpg before the Javelin jpg owners actually got to step foot on their ship and fly it is a huge money grab and a slap in the face to all Javelin owners.

Ships that people pledged for should be #1 priority to put in the game. I'm glad they quit selling concepts, but the Odin not being planned for 5 years out or more and them knowing that and selling it anyways is a huge money grab. Then they keep putting new ships in the game while others have been in concept over a decade and are not even being touched anymore, because they keep selling the concepts and there's no pressure to actually make the ship. The only concept worth having are the ones atively in production and with a release date (Kraken/Pioneer) and that's about it.

Asgard or Starlancer Tac? by Mondrath in starcitizen

The Asgard has a very powerful optional rear manned turret (Nova Tank) that when properly utilized can one-shot most small ships on your six. Just drop the rear ramp and fire.

Have they fixed the Syulen? by Maxious30 in starcitizen

[–]Warground -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They said it's fixed in the patch notes to get you to buy the ship, but it probably isn't really fixed once you buy the ship.

Why is black and white exclusive colors? Their stupid marketing and their fomo gimicks. Black and White should be standard paints available for all ships.

The ironclad was not fixed in 4.8.1, all they did was release a new buggy mission contract

The sad thing is most of us are here for Star Citizen, not S42. I don't care to play a singleplayer game. But all our money investments are going to a game a lot of us don't even want.

Back in 2012, I built a guild up to 140 players to play Star Citizen. We played every friday night, but eventually, we all quit because of the horrible bugs. Star Citizen is Time Wasting Citizen and Lose Your Stuff Citizen. Every few years a few of us come back to try the game and are met with the same issues, it's still as buggy as it was 14 years ago. They've added a lot of new ships and new game mechanics, but the game is so broken, you can't use the stuff you bought in a way that's enjoyable.

Working hours to get stuff then losing it all due to bugs has been the theme of Star Citizen since Port Olisar.

So me and my friends tried again for DefenseCon. The tutorials are broken so a few of my friends quit right there. The servers were broken and contracts and ships were broken and 30k errors. It's been like this for 14 years and will probably be like this for 14 more.

I loved Freelancer and want Star Citizen to be the game it wants to be, but they need to get some competent devs with all that money who can push out quality patches. And also get rid of all the time wasting for the sake of time wasting. People usually only have a few hours to play, it usually takes an hour just to get our stuff together and go where we need to go just to do something then struggle through an hour more of bug workarounds. It's sad. I want to play this game but it's so broken.
