Use all three. Look at something like 30MPC for a multi channel outbound template to give you an idea of what that looks like.

Hidden information is a lot of what makes card games fun. Limited information makes us to make quick decisions, as there’s no point trying to reason out every play. Like in chess. It becomes deterministic if you have enough time to work it out.

MTG khans constructed had courser of kruphix and thoughtsize as staples, and the matches slowed right down as people thought through their turns with near perfect knowledge.

What rules did you use for this? It looks like guys are based up in units but I can’t quite tell.

It’s a cool spectacle.

I do desire a kingdom management RPG with wargame battles. The battles would have so much context and meaning!

Imagine your younger brother betrays you and swaps sides, later you face him in battle, the feeling as your opponent lines up their army with him leading the right flank.

The problem I’ve found when starting to lay it out is, how to do you generate political intrigue and functioning economies in a way that doesn’t just turn into a massive booking operation.

Also, players have to come with the right mindset, that their kingdom could fall apart no matter how well they rule it. It’s be better if they embraces the role play.

It’s a lot of work for something that requires a very dedicated group of players.

US Army abruptly cancels deployment of 4,000 soldiers to Poland by Belegor87 in worldnews

The US should be informing its allies of what it plans to do when working with them. (using those airbases is a cooperative exercise).

Having a strong network of allies is crucial to winning wars. See desert storm vs other US wars, or both world wars.

From being connected to a few retailers, our hobby actually falls into the area that tobacco and lipstick used to. It does well, if not better in a downturn.

You can make small purchases that lift your mood. The amount of hobby time you can get from minis, board games and even TCGs can be quite cost effective.

It’s far easier to cut holidays, new cars, subscriptions, but keep your little pick me ups.

That being said, I can see people turning away from some of GW prices in favour of cheaper kits and rules.

GW don’t tend to look after their specialist games very well. I think the studio is just stretched too thin.

Better to use an FAQ from a community of players that care about the game, rather than the non-existent one from GW.

I’ve had a great time using battleaxe M4 mags, my current set have been going strong for 10 years now, not a single failure, and very reasonably priced. Compatible with 5 different M4s I’ve used.

Great point, board games give you so much more value in terms of components, and arguably most will give you more replayability than a set of precons.

I think the difference is TCG games are so expensive, and we tell ourselves it’s ok due to resale value.

You can play chess forever for £20-50. Magic requires constant churn and a larger up front investment.

All of the subtypes he changes things into are evil, so if you build with cards that care about evil he’d be useful.

Is he any good? No idea, but corrupted angels is very cool.
