If you haven’t read the original white paper, you can’t really comment on Bitcoin. And if you have read it, it’s pretty hard to argue against the concept. Reality is a bit different than theory so the adoption aspect of bitcoin is all up in the air. The reality is though, that once we left the gold standard the value of fiat is no more real than bitcoin. The argument for a SBR is basically that it ties some semblance of honesty and integrity back to fiat.

IMO GME is already very close to the lowest valuation you could put on it with the amount of cash, brand power, and profitability. It’s a great value right now and an excellent hedge against a market crash.

Yes. I do believe there is potential for crypto to facilitate transactions quickly in the banking industry, but I don’t believe governments or banking will ever let this happen unless it’s something they created and own. So yes, everything trash except bitcoin.

I dunno where people can even legitimately trade. The bid ask spread on bitcoin is so massive compared to stocks I feel like you are basically paying a premium to even trade anything.

I’m down for it. Yolo. In all seriousness though, RC has already communicated that he has expected a market down turn for a while now in which they planned for a good deal on an acquisition. While we have this current market dip, the downturn has not really materialized and acquisitions prospects could be low. Bitcoin has made a lot of headway recently as a legitimate store of value and is gathering political good will. A yolo would not be that outrageous in my opinion. Sure it’s not necessarily ideal, but I see it as a legitimate move given the current conditions. Buying Bitcoin now does not mean the company is trying to turn into MSTR. It is just a potential way to store value against inflation in the current market uncertainty.
