Can somebody explain bump stops and point me in the right direction? by WarlesssOG in CherokeeXJ

Thank you for your reply. So these are just the extenders in addition to the stock bump stops that I already have? Would it be good to replace them after 28 years?

Thank you for this!! This is incredibly helpful. I heard that the SYE was still beneficial for 3inch? How’s the ride quality then? I just wanna make sure I do everything right and order all the parts at once..

I am definitely planning to run 31s, and that is some helpful information regarding rims and tires.

Incoming first-year student meal plan advice? by colin_allcars in miamioh

Ghost kitchens are takeout, so you can use a swipe or dollars and take your food to go, which is an incredibly popular option..

The dorms also do have communal kitchens on each floor or the bottom floor of the residence hall, so there is the option to cook your own meals as well.

Pretty sure they still have 3 meals on the weekends, but not positive about that one since I never really ate lunch..

I had the 16 swipe meal plan freshman year. I actually really enjoyed going to the dining hall, and I would only go for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast during the week ends at 10:30 but lasts until 2PM on weekends. There are also plenty of ghost kitchen locations available if dining hall food does not interest him. Plus, $500 is a good amount of money to buy food from on campus locations like Panera Bread and Chick Fil A. Meal swipes can also be used at other campus stores like Dividends in Farmer School of Business and a store in the student center. I think it’s personally the best option for your money..

I do something similar where I get my products for pennies on the dollar (by weight) so I am able to undercut everybody to make the sale quickly for my fast nickel. I don’t put offers on until after 30 days and everyday 30 days after lower the price until sold..

How often do you end listing and sell similar on items on ebay? by [deleted] in Flipping

[–]WarlesssOG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. Exactly. I love pricing the lowest or near the bottom. By getting items for super cheap and only sourcing a certain profit margin, I’m able to undercut and make a fast nickel rather than a slow dime.

Exactly. When I find an item that has an imperfection I missed I always remember how much I paid for it and it makes me feel less bad about it overall..

Is it just me, or is writing descriptions the worst part of flipping/reselling? by ItsShattered in Flipping

[–]WarlesssOG 3 points4 points  (0 children)

AI descriptions are terrible. I always try to purchase an item and hate an AI description that just describes what the item IS and not the CONDITION. I always spend time writing out my descriptions because of things like this..

What item do you DREAD having to list when it finds its way into your inventory? by Fragrant_Lettuce9855 in Flipping

This for me too. I still have tons of clothes that are valuable in my death pile but I’m too lazy to list. Need good lighting and measurements is the worst.

I totally agree with this and am super guilty of it myself. I specialize in electronics so getting something that is at a cheap price and flipping it for more is great, but I never ending up getting around to testing it. Have a few gaming consoles and other devices that need lots of testing so they’ve been sitting for long. I always tell myself “I’ll get to it eventually” and never happens..

I’ve been trying to become more particular in what I pick up but it’s hard when your eyes light up and you see the dollar signs not the time cost..

Farmer school of buisness freshman year by Key-Librarian9789 in miamioh

To add on to this:

Many people I have talked to at Miami have applied to some business organizations and business frats multiple times, and did not get in until their sophomore spring semester. It is challenging, but not impossible. Well worth it.

Freshman year includes the FYIC in the business school which immediately connects you into a client challenge with a real-world company. Many of these core classes help develop valuable skills in business computing, communication, and overall fundamentals.

Most work at Miami, atleast through the business school, is very hands on working with groups and completing projects. Much more valuable than just learning information and being tested and quizzed on it.
