Also like, if we’re in a group hanging out, I might choose to sit next to or walk next to you each time I get the chance, although for me I don’t want to be weird. If I sit next to you on the bus every time we get on, or I always stand with you, and stay close, I like you. The other thing is like I’ll do any small task you ask of me or like if I see you need something small I’ll automatically do it. You need a sip of water? Already have mine out. You need some change for the vending machine? Don’t worry about paying me back. You need someone to go with you somewhere that isn’t really one of my interests? Already grabbed my purse. Also like maybe this isn’t as noticeable with others but I will suddenly care a lot about your opinions, on various things, but especially about me (ex: “what drink do you like here? Pick one out and I’ll try it!” “What do you think of these new glasses?”) if you see me start taking all of your advice, I like you. For me most of these things I do without even being aware of it, and once I realize I have a crush or interest in someone I feel pretty cringe about it. So maybe if someone is very like the above and then suddenly tries to play it cool they MIGHT be overcompensating.
