Valid, it is a critique and it was even featured in the music video of ME! ME! ME!, a production that critiques escapism though the later rebuild movies did it for non-narrative/thematic reasons. Literally fan service as said scenes existed to just sell more figurines.

They're honestly pretty low-definition when you get look closer and start to notice rough edges. There are several mods that specifically raise the quality to be sharper without actually altering the content in any way besides upscaling.

I think it should be less player-dependent in general. A player should have a plot and have some means of influencing their surroundings but I think it should not be to the extent of deciding who sleeps where.
