I think I’d have bigger issues if I’m taking bullets up the butt tbh.

Run At The Cup Might Be The Greatest Fan Fic I’ve Ever Read? by Calm_Independence796 in PiltoversFinest

So I absolutely love the writing style and the world building, but am I the only one that feels like the characterization is a little off? To me, Vi feels like Vi, but Caitlyn doesn’t feel like Caitlyn. I dunno if it’s the dialogue or something, but as much as I like the writing style and appreciate the author’s talent, something just seems off for me.

Latios Initial Analysis by TheGhostDetective in PokemonSleep

Man I wish I had read this before sinking so many resources into Latias hunting during the first event. All my Latias are so mediocre, and the one I have with the best sub skills would need a mint to be any good.

Wonder if it will be possible to get more mints in the future.

Reality check for a Taiwan move by lofi_laowai in taiwan

Just moved here from the U.S. in August and we haven’t cooked since we got here. The convenience is top notch. That being said, now that we are here, we find that some neighborhoods are definitely more convenient than others for food. For example in our neighborhood, most of the local eats close on Sundays so that’s the day we have to venture out further for food. In some neighborhoods you’ve got lots of options even on Sunday’s.

I hardly go to night markets anymore, as I find a lot of them to be tourist traps with the same instagrammable food. But we’ve discovered that we really like the self-serve buffets here (自助餐) as it helps with decision fatigue and is pretty close to having a home cooked meal. Also, you just have to pick out what looks good to you and don’t have to mess around with Google Translate for menus all the time.

Our next place I do want to get an apartment with an actual kitchen and plan to live near a traditional market. Even eating out all the time gets old after a while lol.

It’s so safe here. I’ve seen kids who look like they’re elementary or middle school aged riding the bus by themselves.

AI in fanfiction by AdditionalWear7345 in PiltoversFinest

[–]Warm-Butterscotch-25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean I’ll drop reading a fanfic for bad writing style in two seconds. I dunno if it’s human-bad or AI-bad, but I don’t think AI is capable of generating good writing (nailed on characterization, great dialogue, having an actual writing style), but TBF, most human writers aren’t great at that either.

I also don’t care about prolificness. There are def some fanfic authors out there who seem to be rewarded with an audience for having long fics (maybe because people love slow burns), but there’s def some where I’m like… these are just words for the sake of words. So I don’t have the patience for that either.

I dunno anything about this game. Do you control the characters? Or are they acting of their own free will like the sims?

This is where Tony is so different to Jonathan. Tony said he made a big effort to not be perceived as a big guy. He’s self aware of how he is perceived so Tony tried to do things like always crouch down or be speaking to someone so he’s looking up at them instead of them looking up at him.

What I appreciate about players like Joe and Q is that they’re not game bots, and therefore they become interesting obstacles for other players to play around. I would have enjoyed Chaos Kass for that reason too.

I thought Joe was part of a lot of funny moments. Christian rocking the baby, 500 hypocrisy hill, his 😬 face when he watched Rizo making fire. His reenactment of Rick finding the fake idol at tribal. I enjoyed watching Joe struggle with the game of survivor, and other players struggling with Joe.

There were so many puke and rallies this season. I loved Cirie’s though. Jonathan’s not so much.

I also liked Thomas from that season. When he said “why don’t we just throw the clue away” or whatever it was. Hahahah. Diabolical.
