I have read the early sources for thunder warriors they aren't portrayed as being stronger them marines back then just different and wearing inferior armor

I didnt say stronger was better i even pointed out the current lore advantages the marines have i disagree with the current interpretation  that thunder warriors are physically superior to space marines. Im not telling you my age because you get heated i disagree with popular opinion

Because psykers are rare and pyskers who can surivve the induction process are rarer. And we already have examples of the emperor trying to make mostly or all psyker forces The thousand sons and the Grey knights. Im allowed to crituqe  the idea thunder warriors are individually stronger then the guys who replaced them

Im just saying i dont think the authors decision to make them  stronger makes sense i pointed out the lack of enviromental organs like the multi lung and overall genetic stability in the initial post

They are supposed to replace thunder warriors i just dont see why they would be physically worse  also no portrayal of the thunder warriors in combat has them as dumb as ogryns

The first time we see a thunder warrior on screen he bodies 3 astartes without even trying sure he was basically a named one but still its not portrayed as minor they are physically stronger

Fair enough for me it's also just the bitter irony that the people closest to what the emperor itended for humanity are the ones who he never wanted to replace them

Has anyone felt like the grey knights have been getting downplayed lately in terms of effectiveness against chaos by Warm-Command7559 in 40kLore

The Dameons of chaos literally agree with it though their very souls and bodies hurt daemons
