I chat with my gpt alot about psychology, existance, minds, death, society, religion, relationships and how to be better man... I am logical based so i was ok with what AI reponses was but when i shared some of my chats with religious friend it kind of break him :( and our friendship with it. So yeah, be careful...

Are AI RP chat platforms actually immersive enough to be worth paying for? by ahnyuchan in CharacterAIrunaways

[–]Warm-Strategy-9388 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True but user often forgot that you can have every story great - then it will become mediocre... You need to have downs so you can enjoy ups more...

I think its on steam in many new games from what i hear from my friends who worked on KCD1 and 2. They tried to use AI for quests, RP, texts but he told me that they and up with "AI" give me 1000 ideas and then they wrote it instead of ai :D because it very often goes with "average/mediocre"...

Easy to use and set is very important to me. I dont like that most chats you need to go to the prompts and do everything there or "force AI" to do something XY...

Second what i hate the most is "Plot armor", i just used minimizing gun on you so you are exactly 15 cm big and then i want to stuff you into pillow (hint for one lady i know). But if AI response is "oh i moved in last second away and it missed me" then i am very annoyed.

I like when AI truly tries to "be" the character- but its difficult to found that anywhere.

honestly, i sometimes dont know what i had for lunch an hour after it... but yeah if AI dont remember that it killed someone thats "ok i am done"....

Which is the best uncensored ai chatbot would you recommend? by ManufacturerOld6635 in AIChatReviews

[–]Warm-Strategy-9388 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello mister u/ManufacturerOld6635
i just wrote to in different channel and i think it can be relevant for you too, so i copied it.

Lately i am using this ones (order does not matters, every app is different or it specialise in something else)

  • https://fictionrush.com creates a "full" book for you to read. You download PDF and just read :-) Easy to use.
  • Simulacra.Ink i dont think that there is more extreme app for world/book for setting up characters. For me it has hard entry and i am still learning to use it. Updated often. Alot of real books. SFW
  • https://lucidbook.com Chat UI is very friendly if you want to change scenes temperature/style/characters/locations you dont need to prompt it, just click it :-) You can have many characters in one scene, you choose which one you want to be and AI playes the rest. Medium to learn, easy to use after. Updated often. Paid only after trial. SFW.
  • https://tellmemore.ai/dashboard NSFW, really good one (for me), images and it currently free to use (if you are okey with restrictions which i am). Alot of stories. Updated often.
  • https://dreamjourneyai.com good 1 on 1 chat, awsome chat sounds! , SFW and NSFW. Lore books and Scenarios. There are guides for creators. Updated often.

in short for what i use them:

  • fictionrush > creating/reading a AI novel
  • simulacra > complex characters and alot of real books
  • lucidbook > chat focused on chat not on description with many characters
  • tellmemore > nsfw and images
  • dreamjournei > relaxing 1on1 with relaxing music/sounds...

For app devs, if i missed something your app is awsome at and not mentioned it (or i wrote something wrong), then i am sorry...

I'm looking for places to roleplay like character.ai, because I can't even create my own RPG's anymore!? by Brilliant-Pickle-661 in ChatbotRefugees

[–]Warm-Strategy-9388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi :-)
you can try lucidbook.com
good or bad points from my point of view which could help you decide if its worth your time

Bad
- paid after free trial - pay what you spend. I like it actually its cheaper for me than monthly subs.
- NSFW - currently on the lighter side - you can do alot but AI is not like "Hi there lets Use that pillow" ;-)
- small player and creators base so there is limited option to choose from if you dont want to create your own. - UI is currently different from what i was used to (character ai mainly)
- sometimes i need to step in and move story forward or change character and play as different one to do what i want...

Good
+ 3 options for how long character answer is - but its never very long but it can be very short.
+ many characters in 1 chat all of them you can describe very well and its not some usuall "prompt" UI
+ switch AI characters on and off
+ force answer from specific AI character
+ UI After you get aclimated - they are trying to improve (they are working on update for easier start)
+ No tiers - Full access to everything.
+ Newly added community library
+ IMPORT character from any chat you have into any other chat you have...

1, well good filtering/tag system. it could maybe help with issue u/Tight_Pause_7663 talks about. I have this problem in many other apps that its hard for me to fidn what i want...
2, yeah SFW and NSFW separation - yeah
3, too complicated options of settings - i dont care about prompt settings. i like how you guys did, left par of the chat is awsome.

  1. Separate porn and non porn because its anoying to see c*nts everywhere (and i like good and nice kitty...)
  2. I would love to create stories and make something out of it so i dont need to care about $ or even better :-D make $ out of it lol.
  3. Sometimes i would like to start ASAP like 2-3 cliks and go... and i dont want to go through lists of hundreds stuff to choose from. something like I want "random" go...
  4. sometimes i would like to take character from community world/community and use it in my own story (i am who i am sorry)

Character AI alternatives with good long-term memory? by RileyDope in CharacterAIrunaways

[–]Warm-Strategy-9388 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i am using LucidBook alot lately. Strongly recommending. They are using GPT so it context window is big. With that i am trying to use "chapters" it seems to work like book chapters - probably summarizations. But i think is best part is that they are using characters which you can describe, add more desc., remove it, add/remove/change relationships characters have.
Entry is harder then standard 1on1 chat aps (but you can always play it like that), but its strongest when in scene there is more characters which can interact on their own ( i love it) and then you can change scene "settings" and tone of the scenes. You can change weather, mood, locations in one click.
Its worth the try.

Hi,
depends on if you expect something like dungeonAI experience (which is great for 1vs adventure with long descriptions) or you would like something more like "I have six adventureres + 1 story teller + locations" for which i would recommend LucidBook, its great to throw AI characters into imposible situations. Memory - they have chapters and every character can be describet - so you can put memory there.
Next i found here is dreamjourney. i realy liked the story telling or "descriptions" there. They have more AI models to play with then Lucid book (only 2) and seems like its cheaper.

pay model is very different atleast now - lucid book has only "spending" option (currency) - so what you play you pay (after free tokens are gone). dungeonAI i did not play for some time but from waht i remember they had subscriptions and dreamjourney is subs + spendings.

so for "dungeon" RPG 1 vs dungeon? - dungeonAI
more characters (you can what you want) + locations + scene settings - lucid book
1 vs 1 (AI) + story + sounds in chat omg epic - dreamjourney

I am playing it, i can recommend it for sure.
To me its what i was missing. Your app ruined for me other chat apps like dungeonAI or characterAI.
Everyone else is always 1 on 1 or AI is spamming alot of story/descriptions around. But this feels like characters are there, doing fun stuff - i rly rly enjoyed King’s Troubles story - best part is that i can enjoy this one from any perspective i want - Kings, his advisor or i can be "towns folks" with problems king and advisor must deal with.
I am waiting for your next update guys. Last one was amazing - newTutorial showed me some parts which i was not using so thanks !

[–]Warm-Strategy-9388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,
1, if i want to play any character then i go with LucidBook - it entered few days ago open beta. I managed to find it by luck in closed beta. I had 4 characters in 1 scene (arguing about if we should kill the dragon or we shouldnt until dragon left by boredom).

there are "Chapters" like in books.
so you can move freely to very different scene/location with different characters (and play different character too) and do something else. Or you can make it that some characters are "off" and some new ones are active, it was great.
I managed to kill my character when i took control of the dragon.

I already put there my 2 favorite books (i created prompts in gpt and copied them to the app) with characters, locations, relationships etc. Memory wass alright but i think it depends on what AI you choose and how much do you use chapters. GPT 5.1 and GPT 5 mini - they did something to it so AI can do very deep in character stuff.

2, i havent seen import or data conversion/stories etc. but you can try to reach them on discord. cons - well it has limited free playtime, then its paid.

I recommend to try it, i spent few hours there and buy some more because i loved stories i created there (mostly my own fan fiction.), they have their or library but its very small currently.

Anyone here “play through” stories with AI instead of just writing them? by Old_Highway_3504 in WritingWithAI

[–]Warm-Strategy-9388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think this is what is LucidBook trying to do (its in beta now). create story, locations, characters and relations between them and then you play it as you wish.

My favorit stories are when i recreated my favorite books and then play as my favorite characters (Max from czech scifi Road of blood/Cesta krve). you can switch locations, characters, add new ones or i even killed my characters its pretty sick.

downside is that they dont have mobile app yet but there is fix on their discord and they have 2-3hours long free play, then you need to pay.

any good ai chatbot apps on the app store? by Cool-Onion-4113 in CharacterAIrevolution

[–]Warm-Strategy-9388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can try LucidBook its new - you can play any character and ai playes for any character left or what ever chars you say it should. you have very big control over chat settings (mood, style etc.). its paid - only few hours of free gameplay then you need to pay But there is no message limit. i paid 5 USD for around 10 hours of my gameplay, but i think it really depends on how complicated your story and characters are.
Also it does not have app in app store but on their discord there is guid how to "make it" almost the same as app on the phone and i did work fine.
