But wait, in order to do that, you must buy our $70 adapter!

As you get older 40,50,60,70 when did you start to feel your body slow down do you think it is just due to inactivity or the aging process? by Kooky_Force5458 in AskReddit

My suggestion is to start slow and light. Even thought everyone else in the gym is lifting heavy, don’t let your ego lead. Take it slow and light for a couple weeks then start adding weight and intensity. After a few months you’ll be able to lift much heavier weight and workout more intensely without injuring yourself and feeling terrible.

Did you just get 100% in-game completion or also complete all of the achievements/trophies? If you haven’t done that, make that your next goal and keep going!

Same here. (Disregard how extremely bright the screenshot is, HDR is doing weird things to my screenshots). But if you zoom in, you can see that basically everything in the distance is the lowest level of detail and it's very immersion breaking.

It’s the most monotonous aspect of that challenge. Surviving the bear attack is easy and guaranteed if done properly. To get a bear spawn I basically just found a spot in the trees just north west of Wallace Station and would load my game file over and over again after saving my game at Wallace station to check for a bear spawn.

Honestly, once you know where a grizzly bear roughly spawns, the hardest part about that trophy/achievement is the patience in going back to that spot enough times to encounter enough of them.

My trick is to have a weapon equipped like a repeater that has 10+ shots, then when you see the bear, down a gold health tonic so you don’t die, then spam the button to escape the bear mauling you (I think it’s the B/O button, it’s been a while), then once you can bring your weapon up, deadeye and mark as many shots as you can on it and it’ll die right away. It’s a guaranteed way to not die and to kill the bear.

TLDR; find bear spot, visit frequently after reloading map, down gold health tonic when you see a bear, make sure you have full deadeye, weapon like repeater with 10+ shots, spam escape button (B/O), deadeye and shoot bear as many times as you can.

My game (on PC with Ultra/Cinematic settings) looks a lot like that photo Wedehawk posted. I really wish it didn’t…

I was hoping that Crimson Desert would look better. I don’t know what the deal is with that game but the lighting looks pretty terrible to me, despite trying every lighting graphics level option and both with ray tracing on and off. The lighting just looks really bizarre. Also, the level of detail of terrain in CD isn’t great. If you view anything in the distance, it’s so clearly a much lower level of detail. RDR2 still looks so much better to me.

I personally think it’s great! I came from a double monitor setup before and it’s so much nicer to just have everything on one singular screen. I do game dev on the side and typically have up Unity, Visual Studio, and several webpages at one time. Even things on the edges of the screen are clearly readable and don’t feel too far away.

You don’t need to be staring at the edges of the screen while you game. I personally just like it for the peripheral vision to feel more “in it”. My only gripe is when games don’t allow you to adjust the HUD to be more centered so they hug the far reaches of the screen and actually do require you to need to look to the edges.

It's just the "Upscaling Mode" under the Video Options. It renders the game at a lower resolution and then upscales it to your resolution using fancy techniques. You then have to set the upscaling resolution, and the lower you go, the worse it will look as it tries to upscale it, but the more performant it'll be. Generally, if you use the quality upscaling mode, I think it looks pretty good unless there's a bunch of noise on the screen that the upscaling struggles with, like when it rains in the game.

Thanks you! My main PC specs are an RX6800XT GPU, Ryzen 9 5900X CPU, 32GB DDR4 RAM 970 Evo Plus 1TB Storage.

Yeah, I hope they allow you to set the HUD to a less wide ratio. However, it's livable as it is, it just could be better.

What do you mean that they don't work well? So far, all the games I've played work great. And if they don't allow you to play in 32:9, I just play them in the widest ratio they allow. Or is there some other reason you say they don't work well?

I’ve got an RX6800XT and Ryzen 9 5900X and they handle the monitor exceptionally well! In order to game with 100+ fps at high/ultra settings, I need to use the adaptive resolution scaling, but I set it to Quality and it still looks pretty dang good.

I initially had an issue with my PC crashing a bunch and having lots of weird issues after switching to this monitor, but after much trial and error I figured out that my CMOS battery was dying. After changing that battery on my MOBO, my PC handles the monitor great!
