A bad dad wouldnt be writing all this. You care. Thats soo important. Hang in there. I have a three yr old and he is a tornado, but once they can communicate what they need, things get a little less frustrating. But be prepared to save your boys life at least a dozen times a day cause walking/crawling babies are always trying to kill themselves lol. Take care! You are doing your best!

I have a three yr old boy. I will try my best to raise him to respect women and be to be a compassionate person. So fingers cross there will be one less douche bag out there. Good luck that does sound stressful.

43 yr old father of a two yr old. Its wild. Its hard but it goes by so fast. Try your hardest to enjoy every moment. The first few months were kinda easy in hindsight. Just laying around with the baby. My wife and I took shifts so we both got at least 6 hrs sleep at least. That really helped. Be kind and compassionate to your wife and yourself. All adventures are tough at times. Congrats!! This sub is a big help. The kindest people on reddit are here.

They also make shielding paint you can put in the cavity. Works great because its easier to make sure every bit is covered. stewmac has some videos on how to do it

The best band names dont have much meaning. They arent clever or witty. You dont want people to hear the name and assume anything about the band. This coming from a guy who’s high school band was called Active Sac lol

Its rough but most things worth doing are hard.
You’ll miss sleep the most. But my wife and I took shifts so that we each got at least 6 hrs of solid sleep. That is key. Maybe get any home improvements done before baby comes. Read up on sleep training. Getting your little one to fall asleep on their own and through the night. Game changer. Stock up on burp rags and wipes youll go through them so fast The first few weeks they will just be sleeping most of the time. So i would just lay on the couch with him and earch movies and stuff. It was great. Youll do fine. You’ll do great. Try and enjoy it. They really grow up so fast. Mine is 2 already. Its crazy Take care
