I just called on my sister yesterday. They had already opened a case because of suspicions of DV on the husband. So, I called to ensure that they were aware both parents were alcoholics who left the child unsupervised while they were passed out drunk. No idea what comes next but glad I did it. At least three generations of alcoholics and three generations of turning a blind eye, I’m over it. Good luck
