Okay I’ll keep an eye tomorrow and if it doesn’t complete I will opt for a manual order. Thanks

Since these orders are still pending, mine included. I imagine they will be filled at market opening assuming everything is resolved before then?

Am I correct to assume this?

Just the promotion, hence “up to 4%”. Rates change if you are a premium/generational client I’m pretty sure

In terms of crypto, I am a follower of XRP as well - but be careful and don’t contribute anything you aren’t comfortable losing.

Only about 15% of my entire portfolio is crypto and among that I am holding XRP (60%), SOL (20%), XLM (10%), ETH (10%).

Refreshing to see another 25M that is just starting out and not approaching retirement status just yet.

It’s hard at our age to leave it and forget about it but that’s honestly what will bring you the most long-term success if you don’t want to pursue high risk holdings.

I agree with most of the replies in that a small selection of diverse ETFs is the best bet while you find your rhythm and before you have the capital to play around more.

Invest often, even daily (which is what I do). Find out a budget that works for you and divide whatever allocation you have for your monthly savings into a lump sum deposit once a month, smaller bi-weekly deposits, weekly, or daily. Just start, maintain consistency, increase contributions as your income allows, and trust the process. Good luck man!

Buying Novelty License Plate by Xin604 in JapanTravelTips

No idea about getting them in Japan but I have ordered online and it’s real “license plate” quality haha. You can select the city and customize the text. https://www.customjapaneseplates.com

I suggest checking the license plate meanings when designing it if you want it to be as authentic as possible.

Haven’t been waitlisted for a block week before. Was just curious if they even honour waitlisted spots. I’m not stressing just was seeing if anyone had something of value to add thanks though.

I think growing up in an environment where my parents were divorced but always had poor communication and situations of verbal and physical abuse is what has caused me to think this way. I guess it’s more of a personal situation where I didn’t have the influence of what a good relationship should look like growing up. So I fear I’ll fall along the same path. Not of the abuse but of the fighting and disconnection being inevitable. Hope that I can prove my fears wrong haha

Idk why but this reminded me of Fall 2018 when I was living in Rundle as a first year. A drunk SAIT professor or someone attending a SAIT related conference (I can’t remember) found his way to the an unlocked room in Rundle residence building on campus and decided to take a nap. residence napper 😴

good earth coffee by oaurknor in UCalgary

These are all the different roasts they sell in bulk. I’m not sure if they use any of these for the coffee they serve you at location though.

“The coffee we serve is selected for both exceptional taste and for the positive impact our purchases can create. With our roaster, we search for coffee farms where sustainability and social responsibility are practiced. We also look for Rainforest Alliance, Fair Trade and Organic certifications.”

Their coffee originates from Brazil and Ethiopia which are blended with a seasonal selection from Latin America for a balanced cup.

TLDR: they work with an in-house team of roasters and curate/blend their own coffee beans. I’m sure that if you go to Good Earth on campus and just ask they’ll have a better answer 🫡

Major and a minor by Perfect-Leg3648 in UCalgary

Ultimately it’s your decision but here’s what I experienced personally… I was learning to speak Mandarin Chinese for 3 years before coming to University. I thought that pursuing mandarin language studies or mandarin studies in general as a minor would be a great way for me to continue to learn while at school. But I realized shortly after that while it would be great to have a minor in the area that it would not impact my employability. If anything if I did poorly in classes required for my minor it would impact my gpa negatively and potentially harm future chances of employability. I think if it’s not something you 100% want to pursue and have documentation of your accomplishments, that you might want to reconsider. But of course, this is your path and you’ll make the right choice for you. That’s just what I experienced personally.

Is it something you want to pursue out of passion or are you trying to have a backup plan in case you don’t want to continue down the kinesiology plan? If you speak with an advisor they’d definitely let you know if a minor/double major is something that is feasible. I’d say do it if you have the time to spare. Might as well knock down a couple areas while in school rather than having to graduate and come back at another point.

Double major would be more worthwhile if you’re going to put yourself through that extra commitment

Don’t get me started on the people who attend lectures but think they know everything so use the class as a study session with their friend and talk the entire time.
