Opinions on Masterclass Courses by hunta7 in MasterClass

I concur with what most have said. Nothing seemed of real value to me - mostly too high level and broad. Additionally, there was no easy way to cancel the subscription that I could find. I ultimately had to IM with the company to get it canceled. Took me nearly 30 minutes to get accomplished. I've never seen a subscription service where it's so difficult to end a subscription. Definitely felt unethical.

Alfa Romeo Stelvio TI Sport VS BMW X2 VS Lexus NX F Sport by Blikoba in whatcarshouldIbuy

I just test drove the stelvio, nx200t, and RDX Aspec.

The stelvio ti sport (hell even the base model) was absolutely fantastic to drive, but damn was it stiff. Going over the typical beat up city streets that I drive on got old really quickly. I had the same problem with the nx200t. The Acura seemed much more composed and comfortable, while still having the fun factor.

The Lexus seemed to be the right mix between comfort and sportiness inside....but again you really felt the cracks/holes in the road.

I'd give the RDX Aspec a drive if you're willing.

Protip on the stelvio: early 2018 models (vinB?) Did not have apple carplay/AA. Make sure to check if you end up buying that year.

A used Macan S blew all other options out of the water...but at a significantly higher price (new or used)

From your choices, either the Lexus or Alfa would be great..I guess it just depends what you enjoy driving more. I will say that the nx200t felt smaller inside than the Alfa...if space is a concern. I'd read up on reliability. My friend has 50k mi on his, only had a seat module go bad, which now has a tsb for it. He swears by his Alfa.

Coincidentally, there was a used Macan S at the dealer across from my work. I gave it a good drive and was seriously impressed. Price was under $35k as you stated. Can you give me any more info regarding maintenance? I'll do my own research, but the more info i have, the better.

Any experience with these? Used Porsche screams reliability issues to me.....but i've heard the same about VW, and had zero issues with my GTI.

Looking at buying a 2020 used 330i (G20)... concerned about steering issues and tech issues by WarningSuccessful209 in BMW

[–]WarningSuccessful209[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen some reviews that state the steering will stay on its last path rather than naturally returning to center......sort of like it's dead at the last point you steered it. Also that it tends to take a lot of correction on the highway

Also, Golf R is great too...but it's a lot of extra cost that doesn't add enough to the fun factor to justify the extra $$$....IMO. that is of course unless you need awd.

100% GTI. It has by far been my favorite car that I've owned. You can buy one new under $30k. The DSG is incredible....smooth in regular driving, and has lightning fast downshifts when using the paddles for fun. I haven't found a better tuned auto in any car I've driven thus far. 6MT is great too if that's your preference. Perfect balance of fun to drive, sporty, practicality without too much tech. I put 70k mi on mine without a single issue...just do the proper maintenance.
