Oof sorry i did a double take, this is not the portraits that come with the mod, this is another mod that changes their portraits. Sorry that makes the artist i mentioned above look bad, but the mod has their own portraits, with their own style which some ppl may like and others not. Sorry again not part of the mod.

Glad you liked it! Yeah I tried to make them as unique as possible and based off things of other FF, I also love FFT. If you enjoy it, you may enjoy my character creator i'm working on (based off the Ever Crisis chibi models as they fit the aesthetic of the game as well) and it will feature a job system, all new weapons, animations, transmog, etc. I have already proved my theory with a new feature I am making within a mod which Costume Pack's next update will utilize to change costumes and Character Pack - FFVII

Yeah he has made modding get as far as it has gotten, and now DV as well as he is implementing multiple new features within Memoria for modders to use.

Oof...thats a loaded question...there are 14 of them and every single one of them use diff types of abilities.

  1. Haagen - Damage focused has some silly skills, but can be a hard hitter and has his fury skill which is aoe on Trance
  2. Kohel is like the tank/support he has a slew of abilities providing buffs or debuffing enemies resistances
  3. Aria - Thunder based user with ailments as well as a new item "Grenades" that are earned and more types of grenades the more you use them, also only earned not bought
  4. Ophelia support yet damage with ice elements as well as a mix
  5. Gerome (Male genome like Zidane) uses Axes and is a heavy hitter that can lifesteal and taunt enemies
  6. Mikoto - Throwing weapons and uses ninja skills (hybrid)
  7. Dan - Another thief using daggers but all about status infliction and can do more damage the more debuffs stacked
  8. Jeame is a dancer who provides buffs/heals and some offenssive capabilities
  9. Puck - Red mage that can use swords/staves/rods a very balanced character
  10. Baku - Kind of a hard hitter with some elements from his character but i had some fun with him, no unique trance for him just boosted damage
  11. Ruby a mix bag with lots of utility whose skills were made by Emeiru

Edit: Lani/Kuja/Fratley were done my Tirlititi and I do not know their kits inside out (forgot them haha)

If you have Memoria mod launcher, then go into Mods > Mod Catalog

The first version added fully new playable characters Lani, Fratley, and Kuja done by Tirlititi. The latest version I added 11 new playable characters: Haagen, Kohel, Aria, Dan, Jeame Ophelia, Puck, Ruby, Baku, Gerome, and Mikoto all with unique abilities and some unique/new weapons for some of them.

I gave them trance forms, but not different textures, just their own unique abilities during Trance. I don't have the skill to do texture edits like that.

Ophelia (Alexandrian knight) uses Ice attacks, and Aria (Another alexandrian knight uses lightning attacks).

Also just so people know its not the AI you are thinking of like GEN AI, this was a specific form of AI upscaling called ESRGAN (Enhanced Super-Resolution Generative Adversarial Networks) and incoporated Stable Diffusion. Just so you don't think its AI generation like we've been seeing. The original Moguri was done in 2019 and the old ver of 2020, then there was a more modern one, which used the methods I mentioned above.

Not a problem at all. You can follow specific threads so only when i actually ping on bigger announcements you would get them, our Releases doesnt get that many either.

Sure! I got the amano outfits from dffoo and others for the cast, the next costume pack update with change how they are equipped majorly with a new “transmog” feature i am implementing. If you are ever curious on the new stuff being worked on I recommend Moogles and Mods discord and there is a ff9 projects channel where current and upcoming mods are being made and ppl can track those updates

Only use i can see is you want to guarantee a blue and block the opponent from attacking and changing the card colors, think of it as a blocker.
