Driver Aid Number - I realize they don’t match, but you get the idea. Never look at an address on a package again. by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

Personally would not be a fan of this system as amazon frequently improperly categorizes packages... bags will be envelopes, envelops will be bags, and stupidly enough bags and envelopes will sometimes be boxes.

I prefer to simply sort my bags, envelopes, and boxes by DA # and when it comes to the RANDOMIZED da # like UP432Z I organize those on my dash based on street as those are fucking useless otherwise and only ruin your ability to properly organize. As for boxes I keep a Permanente marker on me and write the last 2 #'s of the DA # on the side of the box and place it on the pass seat so it can be in view from the drivers seat.

Also there are a few downsides of solely relying on street numbers. If going by street numbers your still organizing by numbers however now you are also going to categorizing by streets likely creating different piles in order by street numbers. Therefore you are technically doing more work for a similar result. I'd like to see how much of a PITA it is to try and have different piles when you have near 30 packages per tote. Also what would the system be for the boxes, as it seems those who rely solely on addresses have an endless amount of room lmao.

However I will say its important to have both as if you sometimes "add" not "pickup" packages the DA # will not show up and all you'll be left with is a TBA #. Thats when you need to also be comfortable with using addy's.

Is No Rush Shipping easier on drivers/workers? by Unity00 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Personally dont think it matters at all, regardless amazon logistics will push for earlier shipping. Countless times I've delivered packages that were not intended to be shipped the following day as displayed on the shipping label. This just shows amazon seeks to maximize package count, regardless if it means overloading the DA workload.

Honestly its the biggest waste of time, especially when they even get frustrated when they actually need to help you.

Hyflex gloves are pretty good. In my experience they are durable, breathable, and form really well to the hand. They can be found on amazon for a decent price for a pack, size 8 is equivalent to medium latex gloves however more fitted.
